I’m supportive of seeing this on Nostr and people using the tech to grow communities. That would be the primary reason I liked/ reposted / etc. At 8pm I am typically doing dishes and cleaning up for the day while the kids are taking baths. But I’ve added a reminder for the time and day and will test out corny chat next time to just listen while I’m doing the chores. I'm opposed to gun control, and I feel like the USA's efforts to prevent nuclear proliferation, aka "arms control", is like gun control on a global scale. At the same time, I don't want to see nuclear proliferation. Every regime (or God forbid, individuals) owning nuclear weapons is probably not the right solution. It would increase the danger in the world by increasing the probability that nukes get used. In the U.S., with guns being as freely available as they are, they do frequently get used improperly, and people die. More nukes spread around the world means this could happen on a larger scale. Is the right solution for the U.S. and Israel to go around the world and bomb other countries to prevent this? That doesn't seem totally right to me, either.

I favor your point #5 regarding the dissolution of the United States government and the emergence of the Allied States of America (if there must still be "states"; Lord hasten the day when people can live freely without coercion!) If such a dissolution were to happen, you spoke about the States purchasing ships, tanks and buildings, etc. from the former Federal Government, but what about the nuclear arsenal? What should happen to them: sell off the nukes, distribute them to the various States, or destroy them?

Thanks for the read and the thoughtful response. Yes I was imagining nukes would be transferred to the states or sold to the states and/or would breakdown over time without maintenance. I don’t know enough if that degrades safely just becomes inoperable or if without maintenance they become a risk. It’s a good question.

Does anyone have expierence with the heritage breed of Buckeye chickens?

I’m a year away from starting my flock, and I’m looking at heritage breeds. And I just kind of doubt that a breed of bird will have the same temperament and behaviors that seem to be common knowledge and repeated facts from source to source, without a breeder actively eliminating ā€œbadā€ traits from the breeding flock constantly. And I doubt that large hatcheries are actually attempting to do that. For example Buckeyes are supposed to be strong self foragers. But how would that behavior be monitored and breed for without the chickens being in a situation where they are able to forage for themselves and those that do poorly are removed from the gene pool… so anyways anyone have actual experience with Buckeye’s how close do they come to their breeds description in behavior.

I think you would have to get into the considerations, but my thought was mostly about how the overall layout works and flows.

R can be, still a great place for open source implementations of ML techniques. And strong visualizations of data with ggplot2. Learn all the packages of the ā€˜tidyverse’. All good if you want a powerful toolkit for data analysis. I have been on data science teams that use R exclusively. I’ve never used power BI.

I’m just saying that The T cells which specifically protect you from cancer, were actually higher in the individuals suffering from PVS

The T cells which can specialize into a number of different things for different purposes, one of them being to also fight cancer, among other purposes include autoimmune regulation, bacterial infections, virus infections, parasites infections, etc., were higher in the group without PVS.

The fact that the immune system is complex and redundant is not a surprise to me. I don’t think I have seen evidence in the article you posted to say the people who were suffering from PVS had a reduced ability to fight cancer.

At best it’s a mixed bag of effects. With inconclusive outcomes to what their impact would be. And this was only measured in the population suffering from PVS it wasn’t measured on the general population that took the vaccine so saying the Covid vaccines cause the lowering of of white blood cells is too strong for the evidence in this article IMO.

The PVS group had lower CD4+ T cells which differentiate into several different kinds of cells which do a number of things according to chat GPT. My hunch is that PVS is a form of autoimmune disease caused by the immune system reacting to the spike protein in these cases caused by the vaccine. The symptoms being so close to ā€œlong COVIDā€ my hunch is that ā€œlong COVIDā€ is an autoimmune disease caused by the bodies immune response to the spike protein, in this case caused by the virus. But these are just my guesses.

1) The TSA is about 20 years old, eliminating them only means going back about 20 years. They didn’t need your chat history or biometrics 25 years ago they don’t need it now. 2) No data besides biometrics are required to authenticate the person is who they say they are from your list. If that’s your approach. From there it’s a bag screening. My guess would be that labs would measure volume of the original sample, then use something like a centrifuge to isolate and concentrate the swimmers. Then sample the concentration and dilute it with a specific volume of fluid, to decrease the density to something that is finitely countable. Then count, and multiply by the appropriate volumes to get to a count that is average per ml of the sample.
