I have always found it interesting that no one questions why billionaires and VCs would be interested in a technology that is supposedly anti-capitalist and empowers the masses. Like when have these people ever had purely altruistic motivations for their actions? How are they supposed agents of change when they keep their day jobs that prop up the current system?
Another reason why these medications should not be used solely for vanity.

I am well aware that income equality exists and contributes to quality of life. I feel like you are making huge assumptions about my beliefs based on a singular post on social media.
Scene in my house this morning when I was doing some diy plumbing and told the water had been turned off. 😐 👀 nostr:npub1c9y08cwk9wfgsks34zvdmy8awpzgrg5razl77h49n0p0jkp7jpfqln988d
You are very brave for attempting to do your own plumbing. I get scared just using a plunger to unclog a toilet.
I had no idea Spencer’s was still around. The one in our mall closed down years ago.
It’s me! I did touch it up because my under eyes looked a bit dark, but other than that it’s all me.
I never said money wasn’t important. I want to have a life filled with all the good things world has to offer, so therefore, I like money and want more of it.
However, there are plenty of other factors that determine happiness. There are wealthy people who are miserable despite having all their needs and wants met.
Health is wealth. I’d rather have perfect health and a long life than tons of money.
They’ll learn. There isn’t an algorithm on nostr to bring followers to their profile. They will have to interact with users, so people know that they exist.
I feel the same. It’s seems like it’s impossible to protect your personal data.
Everyone has their own style of communication. Some people value tact, and others don’t.
I says more about you, lol, but it means you’re a person with varied interests, which is a good thing.
That’s exactly what I meant.
Life Lesson from 100-Year Olds

We have become so obsessed with remaining eternally youthful that we forget the beauty and wisdom that comes with aging. It is a privilege to grow older, and I hope that I’ll be blessed enough to live to 100 years old+.
I agree. Technology has definitely made things more efficient, but it’s also robbing us of the various ways that we previously engaged our brains, making us intellectually lazy in some aspects. Chatbots only regurgitate info. They don’t create novel ideas or solutions the way humans can. It bothers me that we are increasingly becoming reliant on these tools.
Love Van Gogh. Seeing his art in person is an experience. I remember attending the Royal Academy of Arts exhibition of his work and being blown way by all the texture, detail, and vibrancy not captured in my art history books. London made me fall in love with museums. Now, whenever I travel, I try to visit all the major museums in my travel destination. When I went to Tokyo for nostrasia, I spent 5 hrs at the art museums and temples at Ueno Park and honesty could have spent more time. I felt rushed and didn’t feel like I had the chance to truly enjoy and process everything.
I am not a fan of character limits. Give me the freedom to express my thoughts and feelings the way I choose.
I don’t think anger or any emotion is bad. What’s more important is being able to self-regulate, so your emotions don’t lead you to becoming destructive whether to yourself or others. Your feelings are real, but they are not always an accurate indicator of how you should respond to a situation.
