Your main issue appears to be the hinge pin being painted. Just tap that pin out (with something skinny like a nail) remove the paint on the pin and reinstall. Might save you from having to strip the entire hinge or reinstall new ones
Local meat only (where I know exactly who raised it and how), no government schools for the kids, bitcoin only (no stocks, bonds or alts)
Not really a skill question for your video, but what do you do with your steel or aluminum shavings from fabrication?
Where would I look in a medium sized city to find shavings of either of these metals for a science project? Locksmiths?
Assuming you're talking about the plant he was holding- my best guess was avocado seedling
Can you fill us (less technical knowledge) in on what's wrong with primal?
Hey good nostr folk, what are some current medical scams that are still accepted as normal? Like the ones we'll look back on in 50 years and wonder how we were so dumb to fall for just because a white coat told us to do it
I'll start.. Mammography. Yet another woman that I know went in for a mammogram, was fine, then a few months later developed breast cancer.
And the safe alternative- a thermogram is deemed no good by FDA. Sadly we're at the point where doing the opposite of what they say is probably going to lead to the best health outcomes
Obviously poking newborns repeatedly with mercury and aluminium is another thing we'll eventually come to our senses on. What else y'all got?

It’s dead simple. I use the big hackberry stumps (from a free mulch dump) to block the north wind and act as a heat shield to potted plants above a swale. This is a smaller batch since it was dark and raining last night (always try to make batches before the rain comes). The pit probably could have steeper sloping on the walls but this works fine for me and my kids who love starting the burn and quenching with their squirt guns lol.
Pic 2. The pile of charred bigger logs that don’t fully burn are reused to fill areas where flames are highest and to minimize oxygen for reducing ash in the next batch.
I quench with 50-100 gallons of rainwater that has kelp, molasses and minerals added to it. Generally I start around the edges wherever ash is starting to show, and let the bigger stuff in the middle keep burning.
Pic 3. The brush pile makes a 30’ ring around the bee hives so the bees are sheltered and have to fly up to get out (for the kids). The pile can get about 8’ high and 8’ wide at the peak of pruning season. I’ve already burned about 10 batches and have 4-5 more to go for a fresh start to the year. The leaves left underneath catch any runoff from properties uphill of us
Then the chickens eat it and give us black butt nuggets in their coop and run. We also add our household liquid compost (urine, meat pack blood, cooking fat residue, etc) to the pots of char that entices the chickens even more and adds nutrient for the microbes and eventually the garden.
The char helps with their feed absorption and lowers the amount they need to eat and it helps them with any detox.
Hope that helps! It’s pretty much free and anyone can do something similar

The pit method. I have yards and yards of woody prunings from last year to go through. The leaves fall off after a few months and make the hugel mound richer.
I get 50-100 gallons of char per batch
The most deserving use of this meme of all time 🙃
Watch the Europa series, y'all. It ties allllllllll the rabbit holes together. https://video.nostr.build/b92104df241b1d1d11040ef60ce0c0c440b96f8d90080e6d4a09af58a2d1419a.mp4

I finally started it after your 3rd or 4th posting lol, on episode 5 now.
Definitely has the propaganda feel to it but everything I was skeptical of was true when I looked it up (but only after heavy digging through mainstream bs sources). AI summarizers were actually more helpful to get clear answers.
How in the hell do we teach our kids true history with so much nonsense revisionist history everywhere we look? At the end of the day the reality of these events is probably somewhere in the middle of this series and what we were fed in school. I guess we just teach kids to be skeptical and persue learning from all angles?
Will continue to watch, so thanks for that recco!
A few questions for them to do their own research on w any crypto..
Is the supply finite or infinite?
Who created/controls it?
What is a rugpull and what is that likelihood?
What has the potential to overtake gold as the top market cap in the world?
I definitely hear that. The list of things I want to learn more about on top of the basic to-do list is crazy. I'm going to add this to my list though!
Maybe look at Michael Wittmans YouTube- Bluesky-biochar
Also weedy garden had a good basic video on it.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vAJt5tGwNVM
Also there was a guy in the finger lakes region of NY with some awesome biochar videos but I can't remember his name. He was mostly doing small batches in his wood stove
Not yet, but that sounds like a noble pursuit!
I assume you are?

Well its finally cold enough to put the walls up on the #greenhouse w the Snow in Texas!
Just need to finish the trim and put on proper doors

Everything did well with no supplemental heat except for the banana trees (they typically come back from the roots though). The lemon trees are still full of fruit since they are next to the 2500 gal water tank

Been wanting to experiment with Pemmican for a while now, and we finally made some!
First batch is just dried lean beef, cranberries, salt and tallow.
Going to experiment with other fruit and nut mixes next.
This stuff is nutrient dense!
I can see why Native Americans, trappers, and sailors used to eat it
since it’s shelf stable and DENSE
