This is something I recorded with my friend for his channel last year. He is super talented, especially as a guitarist, and can be found over on IG @eugenechernov or on Telegram @eugenechernovmusic

The tune is called The Boyne Water

That's the plan! I don't have enough recordings of myself

Thank you! I don't know what I can do to make the wallet work on Primal, it requests my email to send an activation code, but I never receive it. I ended up connecting Rizful as an external wallet and that works.

I'm trying YakiHonne now and discovered that I had unread private messages that nostr:nprofile1qqs9xtvrphl7p8qnua0gk9zusft33lqjkqqr7cwkr6g8wusu0lle8jcpzamhxue69uhkummnw3ezuurpwfjhgmeww3hhwmspr9mhxue69uhkummnw3exx6r9vd4jumt99aex2mrp0yn7plng doesn't show me.

Crisp mornings and the first yellow leaves appearing on the birches... autumn is in the air ๐Ÿ‚

Got Rizful working on Primal for receiving and sending zaps, so I can now return the love! ๐Ÿ˜

I only wish it had a mobile app, because I did like getting the zap notifications ๐Ÿ˜‚

Can someone send me a test zap please? ๐Ÿ™

Thanks! I'll look into it

I do receive zaps, but there is some issue with my wallet issuing zap receipts. I'm looking into it ๐Ÿง

This event was absolutely amazing. This was my first in-person Bitcoin event and what an incredible welcome to the community it was. I feel like I just experienced something life-changing and can't wait to see what happens next! Reflecting on the Bitcoin journey so far:

About three years ago, I started to teach myself personal finance. I had never had a financial education, and I was starting to notice that it was not as easy to get by as it used to be. I also saw how tiny my pension forecast was and realised I was heading for poverty in old age. On top of that, we were starting a family and buying a house. I started investing in stocks, as all the financial educators were telling me that was the tried-and-tested way to build wealth. I also bought some Bitcoin, but at that time, I still thought it was risky so I played small.

Fast-forward and the interest rate on our mortgage was bumped up. I was further motivated to make my money work as hard as possible. But it was only after my little son was weaned and started sleeping that I really had the attention span to deep dive into Bitcoin. In August last year, I decided to start saving every month in Bitcoin. Since then, I have been gradually selling off all other investments and converting everything into Bitcoin.

The results are clear: the earliest Bitcoin I bought back in 2022 has almost 4x'ed in value. The gains I have made in fiat terms this year alone amount to a quarter of my annual income. It makes the stocks I owned, which didn't even keep pace with inflation, look pathetic.

But I haven't only gained monetary value. For the first time, I have hope for the future that things might actually work out okay. That I might be able to retire one day, without deacdes of work being eroded away. That I can give my son the life he deserves. Now that I've seen what Bitcoin can do, it doesn't matter so much what the price does in the short term; why would I ever go back to trad-fi now? I'm in it for the long haul.

Considering attending my first Bitcoin conference but I'm worried it will be like an extended in-person podcast. What can I expect other than the scheduled talks and is it worth going?
