This is something I recorded with my friend for his channel last year. He is super talented, especially as a guitarist, and can be found over on IG @eugenechernov or on Telegram @eugenechernovmusic
The tune is called The Boyne Water

That's the plan! I don't have enough recordings of myself
Thank you! I don't know what I can do to make the wallet work on Primal, it requests my email to send an activation code, but I never receive it. I ended up connecting Rizful as an external wallet and that works.
I haven't been there but I've heard they have a good scene over there! I'll be playing Oulu soon (right in the north of Finland)
I mostly play Irish! But I'm a fiddler really
Love banjo! I have a tenor banjo but I never got good on it (I still might ๐)
This is my first draft... honestly amazed how simple it is to get started here. Sure, a little buggy here and there but so far I can only recommend it. And thatโs coming from someone whoโs absolutely not technical. #shakespeare ๐

That looks amazing! ๐ Where can I learn how to do this?
I have a lot to learn ๐ How do I do that?
As a newbie, I like Primal because the UI is intuitive. But I've been experimenting with different clients/wallets all week to find the optimal setup because the built-in wallet doesn't work for me. Not sure the average normie would go to such lengths
I'm trying YakiHonne now and discovered that I had unread private messages that nostr:nprofile1qqs9xtvrphl7p8qnua0gk9zusft33lqjkqqr7cwkr6g8wusu0lle8jcpzamhxue69uhkummnw3ezuurpwfjhgmeww3hhwmspr9mhxue69uhkummnw3exx6r9vd4jumt99aex2mrp0yn7plng doesn't show me.

Crisp mornings and the first yellow leaves appearing on the birches... autumn is in the air ๐
You're right, I meant the push notifications from the wallet app!
Got Rizful working on Primal for receiving and sending zaps, so I can now return the love! ๐
I only wish it had a mobile app, because I did like getting the zap notifications ๐
Can someone send me a test zap please? ๐
Thanks! I'll look into it
I do receive zaps, but there is some issue with my wallet issuing zap receipts. I'm looking into it ๐ง

This event was absolutely amazing. This was my first in-person Bitcoin event and what an incredible welcome to the community it was. I feel like I just experienced something life-changing and can't wait to see what happens next! Reflecting on the Bitcoin journey so far:
About three years ago, I started to teach myself personal finance. I had never had a financial education, and I was starting to notice that it was not as easy to get by as it used to be. I also saw how tiny my pension forecast was and realised I was heading for poverty in old age. On top of that, we were starting a family and buying a house. I started investing in stocks, as all the financial educators were telling me that was the tried-and-tested way to build wealth. I also bought some Bitcoin, but at that time, I still thought it was risky so I played small.
Fast-forward and the interest rate on our mortgage was bumped up. I was further motivated to make my money work as hard as possible. But it was only after my little son was weaned and started sleeping that I really had the attention span to deep dive into Bitcoin. In August last year, I decided to start saving every month in Bitcoin. Since then, I have been gradually selling off all other investments and converting everything into Bitcoin.
The results are clear: the earliest Bitcoin I bought back in 2022 has almost 4x'ed in value. The gains I have made in fiat terms this year alone amount to a quarter of my annual income. It makes the stocks I owned, which didn't even keep pace with inflation, look pathetic.
But I haven't only gained monetary value. For the first time, I have hope for the future that things might actually work out okay. That I might be able to retire one day, without deacdes of work being eroded away. That I can give my son the life he deserves. Now that I've seen what Bitcoin can do, it doesn't matter so much what the price does in the short term; why would I ever go back to trad-fi now? I'm in it for the long haul.
Considering attending my first Bitcoin conference but I'm worried it will be like an extended in-person podcast. What can I expect other than the scheduled talks and is it worth going?
