A YouTuber friend of mine with 100k subs is about to quit his job and focus on making content full time.

He’s a closet bitcoiner and he just started accepting BTC sponsorships.

He wants to add something to his studio background that is related to Bitcoin.

Any ideas what he could add?

Does anyone run their household like a startup with a product backlog to keep track of all the different projects and ideas and then sprints to get shot done?

Do you know if they service Canadians for loans?

Since Casa and Ledn went to the ETH side, I don’t know where to send friends and family for multisig and borrowing.

What does everyone else do?

A high networth real estate investor friend is not comfortable with putting a lot of money into BTC, he holds about 0.1% in BTC.

However he does want to use BTC as a payment method while traveling for privacy purposes.

He’s asking me if there’s a way he can use a credit card to spend his BTC globally while traveling.

He asked me about this CoinZoom card.

Not sure what it is, but does anyone have a suggestion for this sort of card?

Meeting with a local Bitcoiner who’s got this sick offline POS system.

It generates LNURL invoices, I was able to pay it with my nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg with no issues.

This is so simple and incredible and since it’s offline there’s a hash code after that you can use to verify the payment was made in the companion app.

Super cool concept.

I’ve tried to get him on before but it’s a bit confusing for him.

If someone writes me the easiest personalized guide to send to him on how to join Nostr, why he should post on Nostr, I’ll try my best!

Wow this is interesting, very creative.

I finally got around to watching this clip of Foss, Lavish, Larry and nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z

Very good info.

I want to do a podcast again on this topic.

I have questions.

Thankful that nostr:npub1n8vhptkhdz8nqjd9l4qfmr4xnz6mwuwyjm6mpjddm5kqa670w4dq2f8cap and nostr:npub12ym4gud920vsfrudtuey6xc99aamgxtemfg056sgxgd855u93vpq7m2gc5 Ali came by last night to talk Bitcoin with my MP and the Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of 🇨🇦, Melissa Lantsman and their staff.

I printed off some of nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe‘s work, and some of my own as resources, and then after our private meeting I took a coalition of 21 bitcoiners and friends/family to a Gala to hear about Pierre Poilievre’s plans and let the politicians know Bitcoiners show up.

It was a great meeting and there was lots of remarks like “it’s so great to see so much diversity” “it’s so nice to see young people get active.”

Bitcoiners need to get active in local politics to help influence public perception about bitcoin & make our voices heard.

Bitcoin is a grassroots movement.

We may have opted out of politics by voting with our fiat - but the world is changing and we are seeing the erosion of property rights & free speech.

Unless you plan to leave your country, you should consider getting active locally.

It took me about a year for my MP to take me seriously and take my calls.

Show up.

There was a stare challenge a while back that I partook in.

It was a confidence building challenge which stated that whenever you locked eyes with a stranger, you couldn’t instinctively look away.

You had to stay looking at them as long as they kept eye contact.

The challenge was to do it 5 times.

One of the hardest things I ever did.
