Are there any motherfucking companies that do inflation indexed raises anymore? The corporations, even small family owned ones, are as complicit in the looting of the working class as the tax collectors. 4.5 years in with this company and they act like they’re doing me a favour giving a 2.9% raise in the face of a 40% cost of living increase over the same period.
No wonder “quiet quitting” is a thing now. Turning engaged, enthusiastic, motivated people into fucking clock punchers.
Thank Christ for Bitcoin. It’s the only bright spot and source of hope for a better future for so many people.

I wonder about the daily use of my Plantronics headset with my cell.
The only job I ever got fired from was for such a dick superintendent’s goon site supervisor. I was hired as the site first aid attendant for a large mall renovation. I was maybe 135lb soaking wet and they had me down in a trench for a day and a half with a 70lb Hitachi jackhammer boring a hole horizontally through a 2’ thick reinforced footing wall and this supervisor is wondering why it’s taking me so long and being really derogatory. I just looked up out of the trench and said “Fuck you Dennis. Why don’t you hop down here and do it.” I was called into the office the following morning and let go lol.
What was really trippy was that the office administrator offsite who likely processed my final paycheck ended up being my mother in law 13 years later, and still working for the same company.
GN .I feel you on that shit. 🤙🏽
If you have it in the budget for a premium guided hunt up in Northern Alberta, this local guy named Clay hosts many guys from the states every year:
I snagged a couple of cool picture at about 3:30am the other morning before I left deer camp. Jupiter and its largest moon Io, Orion’s Belt, the Pleiades star cluster, and Aries, my astrological constellation all in one image. The other images are just crops of the same for detail.

All of the preparation, mobe and setup for a solo deer camp, dragging an animal on foot for 2km, then breaking down camp and demobing back home to get a deer hung was justified by today’s breakfast. Deer tenderloin and eggs, fried in butter with sautéed farmer sausage and onions. Delicioso.
The next three or four nights will be processing this small deer plus 400lb of moose meat hanging in my buddy’s shop from their hunt.
The funny thing is I’ll likely get more pounds of meat given to me from helping him process his moose than I will out of my entire deer. But what I do get from this small button buck will be very tender for a couple of good meals.
Things like gardening, preserving food, hunting, and self-processing animals would be much easier to get done if one weren’t juggling a 50-55hr per week fiat job with those activities. And having half of that life energy stolen by the government.
It’s nice to see BTC ripping! #huntstr #proofofwork ₿

Just a little button buck. But it’s cool because it won’t count for my antler tag so I can still shoot a big buck if I see one, or a doe. A bit of meat anyway.
Now for a 2km drag to camp. 😅 #huntstr #proofofwork

I’ve figured out a 100% reliable way to make deer cross these cut lines. You just set your rifle down, walk about 15 feet away, and either grab a sandwich out of your pack that you’ve needed for two hours.
Or for really quick results, drop your drawers and get mid dump. Works every time lol.
Last year I was standing here, went to grab a sandwich out of my kit and a really nice buck passed 50yd east of me and stood broadside. By the time I got my rifle on him his ribcage was easing into the bush with this poplar right in front of it unbeknownst to me.
Standing on the same seismic cut line where I dropped a nice doe last year. A doe walked across the cut line 30yd in front of me and stared right at me 200m east of here on the way in. Couldn’t even bring my rifle up without immediately alerting her, and she moved on. She wasn’t hightailing it out of there though. I stayed put for 20 mins waiting for any followers. 🦌 #huntsr
