Just like Max Kaiser said on Nat Brunell’s show the other day. By the time the real hyperbitcoinized world is a reality, we will be the legends it was built on. And we will be dead. We stack for our last names, not our first names. šŸ¤™šŸ½

Just two buddies chillin’.

Happy Thanksgiving to the host of my number 1 most anticipated pod during my week šŸ¤™šŸ½. I hope your talk at the cattlemen’s dinner went well. Or goes well. I forgot the date.

Cool to touch base with someone who shares some of the same upbringing. Hopefully I’ll run into you at a conference one day. Till then keep rolling BJJ and don’t wreck yourself on your bike šŸ¤™šŸ½

Yes I was pretty lucky to have such an outdoorsman to hang out with. That Walker and Blue Tick yielded a litter of 9 puppies that ended up being shipped all over the country, some as far as BC to run cougars.

Almost every raccoon we harvested was shot with an old Cooey .22 that my Dad still owns.

He is now 78 years old, still a few years left in him. I’ll always remember him as the hunter in the Paul Calle print they bought when we were hunting a lot. It still hangs in his office.

Yeah I credit my Dad with my current comfort level with being in the bush at night. We didn’t have much in the way of predators back home, but I still don’t mind coming back after dark if I am armed and have a headlamp so I can gain advantage. PS the last pic is just a gag pic my Dad sent me that he cut out from an old Outdoor Life mag lol.

Haha cool. That was a big part of my childhood as well. Tromping through the bush with my Dad at night, following the sound of bellowing hounds with raccoons treed. One night my Dad and I went out just on foot and stayed out till almost 2am. We came back with 14 pelts that night. Two big backpacks full. My Dad pretty much paid for half of our small first family home in 1971-76 with the proceeds of fur sales. The other half with his engineering job for a local logging equipment manufacturer. Great memories. Qualified rednecks.

That’s some good eatin’ right thur. šŸ¤™šŸ½

Well my initial take on the town’s use of funds for this project was negative. But after a nice walk with my wife and the hound, I must say it’s the first thing I’ve seen in a while that inspired a bit of wonder. It also seems to be drawing some people to our sleepy little town to spend money, even if only for a coffee or dinner.

Nice piece. Inspirational and uplifting. nostr:note1jq6fcxtczwj709qahs5mqeffmz4u8ac326uclaetvpy5kv9dezzq7emqac

Incrementalism massively favours communist, socialist and fascist agendas because these entrenched powers, since the 1910’s, have had the advantage of being able to play the ā€œlong gameā€. Versus individuals, who are largely making their decisions to support policies based on much shorter timelines, often unaware of how small losses of freedom or intrusions into their privacy over time ā€œfit togetherā€ in decades long plans to rob us of value and liberty.

The slippery slope needs to be tilted 90° in the other direction for a while. Starting with removal of the socialist’s grip on the media and the education of our kids.

We need a sly roundabout way to combat #incrementalism and #gradualism of legislation, and a massive decade-long push towards #deregulation

Yo #Nostr I just created the Bullish Bulletin!

It’s a web app that’s powered by nostr:npub19hg5pj5qmd3teumh6ld7drfz49d65sw3n3d5jud8sgz27avkq5dqm7yv9p and is a place where you can post a message (either on a post-it or a sheet of paper). Think job postings, ads, or whatever else you want to share with the world.

All you gotta do is click the ā€œPostā€ button, select the note type, enter a message, and pay the invoice displayed by #Bitcoin Connect.

Try it out at: https://bullishbulletin.vercel.app

I’ll have it up on the monitor in my office to see what y’all have to say. šŸ˜Ž

Shoutout to nostr:npub1zk6u7mxlflguqteghn8q7xtu47hyerruv6379c36l8lxzzr4x90q0gl6ef for putting me on to NWC. šŸ¤™

TrƩs cool.

It’s going to be a chilly one tonight. Bracing ourselves for the next 4 months, and temperatures nearly twice this cold for the odd day/week. Already dreaming of gardening again 6 months from now.
