Nothing visible here from the windows, but I’m an hour and a half into sleep, it’s -25 C and I’m not going out there lol. Cheers GN

Preseason test run. I started some Red Bell Peppers from seeds harvested from last year’s crop. They were grown from heirloom seeds, but this is the first time trying to seed the second generation at home.

I’m way early for this year’s planting, but I needed an experiment to do while we are waiting for the snow to disappear between now and mid March. Ideally I’d bag up a room in white poly and hang a couple thousand watt high-pressure sodium lights in there. By the time spring hit I could be harvesting. Life in zone 2b/3a

Yeah I would never have known I could do that, but the lab clerk who I handed my req to happens to be my wife lol.

It’s funny I went to have blood drawn today and I ticked off a couple extra tests my GP hadn’t asked for on the req. Ones that should have been.

This day in 2021 we got a good show from the back yard.

Other than the Cold Card MK4, is there a good compact open source Bitcoin only signing device with an SD card for air-gapped signing that does not have (or rely on) an internal, sealed in, proprietary battery that is subject to degradation? No battery at all is my preference.

Looking for something that works with Sparrow multisig. And ideally I’d like to get two of them that I can set up as exact clones of one another and store in separate locations.

I don’t understand this trend lately toward making expensive signing devices that are more like smart phones in their design than simple signers. All of the bells and whistles and onboard accessories are just points of failure IMO.

With the exception of routine firmware upgrades, I don’t even want to look at it. It doesn’t have to look like it has beautiful Apple inspired design.

So far the Jade Classic looks about right. Except for the existence of a battery. Pretty simple. And likely pretty easy to hoop in hurry. They could have made the edges rounder though.

It’s always easier to train when you have something specific, like an event or an extreme physical challenge, that you are training for. It adds purpose and direction to your workouts.

If you can’t find a specific event to train for, imagine that in three months you are going to be required to run three miles and then fight someone twice your size hand to hand. Would you be ready?
