this form of weaving dates back millenia and could be considered the most primitive form of programming. I'm using my body as the loom by anchoring the warp with my feet and with a backstrap. The design is made by flipping the tablets that control which warp shows on the face.

In history they would have used wood, bone, horn or leather for the hole punched tablets. The yarn would have been whatever was present in their environment. Wool in Nordic countries, plant fibers (hemp, raime, flax) in hotter climates.
