thank you! ❤️
I'm undercharging because this is not a business. this is an ask for a favor for someone to buy me yarn so I can have a little fun making a blanket which I'll also give to them.
I totally support charging fairly for labor. rock on, mom!
thank you for the boost and adding those tags! my mind was completely blanking on what to use ❤️❤️❤️
you buy yarn, I make blanket for you. free shipping within USA. more info below

I saw a video of someone making these and even though I've seen these projects many times before, THIS TIME my brain is like "we gotta make one. please please please. it'll be so fun and the blanket will be so cozy. come on!"
My practical brain knows that the household budget doesn't have any wiggle room for frivolous indulgences like this. I can't justify spending money on buying the yarn for this.
But my impulsive, creative brain really wants to make it happen. So let's say... perhaps... if someone in the nostrverse had a desire for a cozy chunky blanket hand made with love would be willing to buy the yarn, I would be delighted to make it. it would be fun for me and satisfy a silly craving.
If you've read this far, maybe you might be that someone? When you pay the invoice, I will buy the yarn to make you a throw size (approx "36 x 48") blanket in the color(s) of your choosing. I'll message you with color options and you can choose up to three colors.
It'll take me a couple days to make the blanket and when it's done, I will pack it up and ship it to you.
I've always wanted to ask someone to sponsor yarn for me for a project like this but never dared. And frankly, before the Bitcoin and the lightning network, it wasnt practical or feasible either. It's possible now and that's pretty exciting 🤩

acrylic definitely has a place, especially for making things for small children.
whenever the Internet says "wool is not recommended for infants, use acrylic instead" I just want to scream! what do they think people were using before 1950???
me: taro, there aren't any toys in your pen. let's get a couple out.
he and I go through his toy bucket and pick out a couple. a car, a set of rings, a teddy bear and a hammer.
20 minutes later...
dad: why do you have so many toys out!
if you didn't make a mess, you didn't clean hard enough 😂
it comes down to your relationship with your in-laws, I guess. with mine, I would not hesitate to say "hey, I saw the reviews and I don't like this for taro. can you do a return from your Amazon?"
either a return gets initiated and the item is gone from my house, or they know where I stand on XYZ item and why it isn't in our house.
baby ploughman's lunch

taro is making sure we packed everything up to check out of our room. thanks, bud.
went to get ramen today. we slurped loudly cuz that's what you do when it's good. taro wanted to join in but he couldn't quite get it and blew raspberries instead 😂
1898 hat is a good one, especially if you need a very warm hat.
I personally like very plain socks, but check out fish lips kiss heel if you don't like the traditional flap heel.
we're on a little trip and just found out the cafe on the corner serves cinnamon roll french toast. guess where we're going for breakfast 🤤
sure! I can ship internationally. pm me with the one you want and shipping info and I can send you a lightning invoice.
the pattern is... accidental. I'm working on another one where I'm being a little more intentional.
yes they did! two, in fact! they're from the same litter.
