oof ... Just had a customer come in (I'm a truss designer) and he saw bitcoin on my screen. He asked if I knew how to recover funds. I said I can look. Sadly, he got scammed out of 13k worth of shitcoins connecting to a web3 site and giving his seed. 1 ETH and most of the rest was xrp with a sprinkling of other shitcoins. He didn't have any bitcoin. I guess he has nothing now. Older guy. Framer. He seemed a bit upset but I think I told him what he already kind of figured was true.
We left it at lessons learned and I told him Bitcoin only. He seemed to really grasp that the rest is shit and Bitcoin is the only thing worth buying. I hope he builds back up from here.

Suggestion. only show ended streams if they have a recording url. And only show max 2 streams from the same person. I'm running tests and so the feed is 4 or 5 ended streams from me with no recording url.

When it comes time to build a release, this will be in the build step, along with assembling the tailwind css.
If you take a look at grain, it's far more polished with docker containers and a build process for releases. That will all come later for gnostream. Just cdns for testing purposes right now.

Your password manager is still handing over your private key to a client and you're trusting your client to handle it properly. That's the problem. The password manager is not a secure solution. The password manager itself will keep your key secure but the client you hand it to may not.
The blockchain is not vulnerable to a 51% attack or reorgs. Doesn't really matter what happens imo. I wrote an article about it if you check habla.news

I wouldn't really recommend it for most apps for the same reason I wouldn't recommend apps that don't support signers. I have to trust the client with the key. That's a no no for me.
