A move like this is going to confuse people. They’ll conflate Bitcoin with crypto, slowing down understanding and adoption here in the states.

If you needed additional evidence that President Trump is not a Bitcoiner, look no further than the new Trump crypto. I am not surprised in the slightest by the release of something like this. But it is still disappointing to say the least.

Say hi, introduce myself, and let them know I’m there should they need anything.

Yes. Though it’s unfortunately a dying practice that we should bring back. Community is so important.

Just going through nostr:npub1v02emwxjn2lznkmnszltjy4c7cqzxuejkmye0zeqs62wf0shpahswdmwuj submissions, photo stuff, going outside to enjoy the sun if it’s out and figure out what’s next haha. What’s on your agenda!

Finishing up work in a few hours. Later today, I’m grocery shopping for the week. We have Sunday dinner with another family tomorrow. It’s an easy weekend.

Thanks Colin! What’s your plans this weekend?

Good morning friends.

Eat good food. Listen to loud music. Do something that’s just for you and nobody else. Whatever it is, own this Saturday in the way that only you can.

Hey Jake! 👋🏻

I’m inviting you to follow me. Currently, I post a little bit about everything. I will be posting more elevated, curated content this year.

Every child is a universe of potential. There’s no perfect way to raise kids. And yes, we’ll keep making mistakes, just like our parents and their parents did. But here’s what’s been working for me “so far”:

• Watch your kids fall and fight every instinct to rush in. That split second when they pick themselves up? That’s where resilience is born.

• Hand them a “broken/fixable” toy and step back. The pride in their eyes when they fix it themselves is worth more than a thousand “good job” stickers.

• Spend time on the floor, building caves with pillows and tents with bedsheets. These aren’t just games. they’re the foundation of trust that’ll carry you through the tough times.

• When they succeed, celebrate their effort, not just their victory. Show them you’re proud in ways they’ll remember forever.

• When they fail, high-five their courage to try. Life isn’t about perfect scores; it’s about getting back up, covered in dirt, grinning.

• Give them missions, not orders. Watch them transform from “I can’t” to “I did it!” That’s the real parenting high for me.

• Sometimes the best teaching happens when we shut up and let them figure it out. Their solutions surprise me every time.

This isn’t parenting advice. it’s just battle-tested moments 😂. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

Would love to hear your stories: what’s been working for you and what hasn’t?

#Nostr #Dadstr Lessons Learned.

I needed these today. I’ve been going through a tough father season lately, especially with my two little ones. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🏻

Good to know. I’ve been really considering playing RS again in my downtime and would appreciate a new to play. But it’s such a huge time sink.

I’ve yet to try Ironman Mode. Seems very intense with permanent death and many nerfs to normal gameplay.

🚨 WARNING: LONG RANT INCOMING – POTENTIAL SWEARING🚨

Before I begin, some of what I’m about to share is based on hearsay, and some are facts you can verify yourself. Let’s dive in.

We’ve all heard about the TikTok ban looming over us. What’s been driving me nuts is how the US government keeps calling TikTok’s CEO, Shou Zi Chew, “Chinese” when he’s Singaporean.

If you haven’t seen it, watch this absurdity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgLQCfypDLk.

From what I’ve seen (and heard from credible creators on TikTok):

1️⃣ TikTok employs over 8,000 people, most of whom live and work in the US.

2️⃣ The majority of TikTok’s servers are located in the US – mostly California, with some in New York.

3️⃣ (Okay, this one’s more personal): The CEO’s family – wife and kids – are American citizens.

What really pisses me off is this: TikTok might just be the most “American” social media platform in terms of infrastructure and employees. Yet, it’s public enemy #1.

Meanwhile, companies like Meta and Google operate most of their servers outside the US, employ large overseas teams, and likely have “arrangements” with the US government to share data and dodge scrutiny. Double standards, anyone?

This is why protocols like Nostr are crucial. Decentralized systems mean no government can shut us down. Anyone can spin up a relay, and we can bring our social graphs wherever we go. Free speech, resilience, and ownership – all baked in.

Thanks for sticking with me through the rant. What do you think? Is this just government posturing, or is there more to the TikTok ban? Let’s talk.

Completely agree with you.

This whole matter is ridiculous. TikTok wasn’t a problem when the politicians were campaigning on the app and their supporters were cheerleading along side them. 🤦‍♂️
