Exploring the interface between those of us disbilities and the new digital world. Especially with regards to the new Bitcoin standard and related topics.

Apple has release the logic pro for ipad. This is another step in decentralizing the production of music. Many blind and low vision people love music. some play various instruments. Others sing and still otheres like myself can compose music. As with most apple products it is from what I have heard from others is pretty accessable with voiceover. Hopefully there will soon be a censorship resistant and decentralized way for msicians and composers to take their love of music and make it at least a little profitable.

Well whatever happened yesterday I now have a nostr.builder account that is being verified. How does one use it it? This may be the most important. Part of building nostr and the clients on it. The education of how to use it. As well as placing such user manuals in the hands of those who start migrating outside the walled gardens of the centralized platforms.

When I copy my pub key when I pstedd it into nostr.builder it includes the word damus.. should I delete that word or is that part of the correct pub key?

Ok for the redord and my own score keeping On alreay on my iphone. I have not used my private key. I believe I’m using the correct pub. And I have not used ingognito mode before on anything.

Yep we aare all learning about nostr and how to interact succussfully with it. Welcome to the journey.

Yes that is a great thing. we just now need for the interface to be easy enough for for people and those with various disablilities to become part of a hopefully better world for all.

Has anyone else had trouble loging into Nostr. Builder? I tried to login just now and despite using the exact password it kept having login again and again. I was hoping to pay for space to start building my nostr experiance including setting up a lightning address so I can finally give and recieve zaps.

Wow!!!! I had no idea there were all these different types of nodes. I a nontechnical user it both facinates and frightens me. Also I’m thyinking that most everyday people including blind and visually impaired users are not going to want to know all this. Such things may need to be abstracted into the background before large scale adoption is possible. Sorry if I’m stating the obvious.

Guy Swann has posted several posts regarding AI that I find worth. Thinking. About. My question is how will the explosion of AI applications iether by one gigantic AI unit or by billions of little AI units affect the quality of life for those living various disabilities? How can we make sure that the AI revolution serves the wellbing of man rather than becoming a tyranical monster that harms humanity?

After relistening to it all I hear is a series of number/letters and at the end JPg

I haven’t found the puzzles yet. That is partly why I asked the question.

Prediction: AI is going to be a revolutionary *interface* to the ocean of software and tools we already use (including those that build more software and tools) that will unlock vast amounts of application function that is simply lost due to illiteracy and a far too vast information space.

Check out how Microsoft Copilot works: AI is more akin to the revolution in computer interfacing that the mouse and keyboard were, or that multi-touch was for the smartphone revolution, than it is a standalone app with some new specific functionality. It will end up being a computer (or internet) wide, contextually relevant knowledge base for how to use any and all of the tools available to you, as if it's all just a single, universal UI system to accomplish whatever you need at any moment.

AI will be able to use ALL of our apps, better than you we for most of them because it doesn't have to "learn" them. To the point that we might not need to bother to ever know how to use many apps, programs, CLI tools, or functions on our computers, because if the AI knows how to accomplish what we are looking for by using them, why bother?

Think about it like a calculator: Why learn how to manually do long division when it's just the "divide" button on one of numerous devices always within reach? Or having a physical map: why remember directions when you have a live map with traffic updates at all times in your pocket. One that speaks directions out loud?

This same relationship is about to apply to basically any or all software on your computer. It can integrate with web requests, run conversions, knows all the commands in your command line by heart and which ones will help in your current task, it will predict what you might need next, it can accomplish short, simple tasks that you might have needed an app or extension to accomplish before, but now AI can create a script or executable on the fly, specific to the exact situation & instance in which you need the functionality... so then why save it? The AI can just write and execute new code next time, that is specific to the next situation.

I bet that in just a few short years, interacting with a computer *without* an interfacing AI will feel like trying to sprint in knee deep water. This is going to put a 2x-4x growth trend every year in user speed and capacity to accomplish their goals **on top** of Moore's law's already exponential increase in *computing* power.

AI will create an exponential growth of *user* power on top of the already exponential growth in *computational* power.

If this prediction comes true then that is more the reason for having billions oflittle AIs running around in the internet instead of one gigantic one. Also I would think by having billions of Ai units doing specific tasks the computational power requirements would be spread out over a large area. But that gigantic Ai would need to have its computational power more centralized. Making it more prone to failure or attack. Just a dumb users vantage point.

Interesting persective. For one I don’t see how AI could make manual labor cool. I know there will alwahs be those who like to do things with their own hands. But I suspect there are way more who either don’t have the. Skill or just like seeing cool gadgets do the work.

Are these puzzles visually oriented or verbally oriented?

For those who might believe that all these posts are my whining that is not true. It is my attempt to document what I am going through to make this work. I feel that in the long run many blind and visually impaired people might benefit from what developers and entrepreneurs may gleam fromwhat I say here.

WELL IT LOOKS LIKE I DO HAVE TECHNICAL TROUBLE SETTING UP ZAPS. I’M TRYING TO UTILIZE BOSTR.CBUILDER IN HOPLES OF GETTING MY LIGHTNING ADDRESS SOLIDLY ON DAMUS. BUT I’LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR A FEW DAYS TO TO HAVE ENOUGH FIAT TO PUT SATS IN cash app Simply because for some reason when I tap open wallet in nostr.builder it doesn’t let choose which wallet it will open. It auto opens to cash app.

One thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to send and recieve zaps. I tried sending a zap and the window that one video I watcedsaid should pop opendidn’t pop open. so I’ll try again and see if I need to use the container command to find this pop up window.

I just figuted out how to to repost Voiceover calls out boost . So I decided to click on that and it asked me if I wanted to repost. so now I know how to repost. It might be nice if the wording was repost.
