How about for Chorus Relay Management: option to allow all follows of any moderator_hex_keys to be treated as authorized users. This would be great.

Started reading this based on your comment about statism... https://peakd.com/christianity/@creatr/the-curmudgeon-s-bible-what-are-the-governing-authorities-of-romans-13-1

It makes a lot of sense. Words matter.

This statement in the linked article resonates:

"If you come across something in the bible that doesn't quite seem to fit the overall context, be suspicious. Do some digging. There are a plethora of online tools these days that can help you investigate and study the bible more deeply."

I find 2001 to be practically a concordance for everything. Where it uses other than mainstream translation it has links to well written explanations for how and why. The only things (so far) that I "do not" like are the use of concatenation for "do not" as don't, or "can not" as can't, and pretty much everything is a concatination. Also I don't like that it swaps todays measures for the words used when written.

It also does not have the feel that it was translated with Gods spirit and power, but rather with educated reasoning of men who study language. Still, it's a useful tool.

Many of the linked written expanations delve into why some words are avoided becuause they propetuate tradition that has nothing to do with scripture. Example is as you point out above, the word church is better translated as 'congregation' in english.

I do not advocate for this translation because I have not spent a lot of time with it and it does have some flaws, but it has some very big positives.

Thanks for commenting on this. I will read the link you left too.

Have you seen the 2001 translation? Do you find it to be corrupt? There are things I like about it and things I don't... would be interested in your take on it.

Kind of a lazy comment I made. My assertion is that Trump is a business (con) man. Much of what he says is rhetoric, designed to give him an edge in negotiating what he wants. I have my doubts that he wants sound money... watch out for the misdirection sleight of hand.

Interesting question. I have posts going back to ~march 2023. Some relays have them all, others do not.

I built some of these simple packet radio TNCs long before lora was a product. https://tnc-x.com/TNCPi.htm

Quality UHF radios come with TNCs built in now days. I have one of these https://www.kenwood.com/usa/com/amateur/tm-d710ga/

This is what I think every time I see a post complaining about UX. I have no interest in a twitter clone. Build other stuff.

It is with great power that the devil is chased away. But that only happens with faith, not doubting at all. Be careful with that power though...

After these things Jesus found him in the temple and said to him: “See, you have become sound in health. Do not sin anymore, in order that something worse does not happen to you.” - John 5:14

“When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through parched places in search of a resting-place, and finds none. Then it says, ‘I will go back to my house out of which I moved’; and on arriving it finds it unoccupied but swept clean and adorned. Then it goes its way and takes along with it seven different spirits more wicked than itself, and, after getting inside, they dwell there; and the final circumstances of that man become worse than the first. Matthew 12:43

It is true Christ was impaled owing to weakness, but he is alive owing to God’s power. -2Corinthians 13:4

He is an indestuctable life, and priest forever according to the manner of Melchizedek -Hebrews 7:17

there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved -acts 4:12

Let us therefore do our utmost to enter into that rest, for fear anyone should fall in the same pattern of disobedience. For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and their marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is not a creation that is not manifest to his sight, but all things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of him with whom we have an accounting -hebrews 4:11

Not loving systemd is not to say that it is not a powerful and reliable tool. You could say the same thing for Google or google docs, or most of microsoft. It really comes down to trust and how much love I have for those I do not trust.

I am using systemd and yes it works really well, but I can't help looking over my shoulder wondering how much extraneous larp is being baked in. Just yesterday I was considering bootstrapping gentoo with init and moving all my vms again. I decided that I don't know init any better than systemd, so it would be an emotional move not a rational one, so no, not yet, but I am paying attention.

I love the concept of doing one thing really well.
