When I first got married, my husband tried to make sure I knew I could leave if there were any legit reasons.

I confronted him on this, as yes, there is some truth to it, but I already picked him! I believe in the covenant of marriage! I don't need the back door wide open! Please lock it. I know it's there if it's ever needed, and I have the key, but other than that, I don't need the insecurity of the potential end to our marriage to ever even be acknowledged.

However, to your point of "need". Yes, a needy person isn't good. It's way better to be wanted. To have two individually capable people who choose to partner up together. If one is weak, the over than cover, but they take turns and work together! 🙂

That's the kind of marriage I have, and want for everyone. A committed marriage between two healthy people.

Reading the Bible after years of reading thousands of other works ranging from philosophy, religion, fiction and non-fiction is an absolute joy. In particular the King James Version with a concordance showing Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic roots and words is a big plus.

Consistently English words refer to specific Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek words this is a bonus. It's very difficult to find that the KJV is not well researched and written.

Finally it is the greatest joy seeing that God doesn't ask us to do anything complicated other than live by his word. The challenges of the Old Testament have passed and the only great ritual of suffering has been experience by Jesus. We are then to follow him and ask him for guidance and we can do anything good if we call out the name of Jesus.

Many will disagree because they like to have complicated lives of contrived importance. It is what it is.

I think Nostr could be great for communities.

But I don't think just any relay or client will do. I think the client and relay need to work together so that community members are onboarded into and see other community members and community content first.

That way all the Nostr superpowers become added value rather than distraction.

My current thinking is a relay-first client that shows relay-only feeds, and a relay with read-and-write auth for community member content.

I think we're almost there with some of things shipped in the last week or so. I'm pretty keen to pilot this and prove it out.

Ukraine, NATO, US, and S Korea repeatedly claimed North Korean soldiers were fighting for Russia in Kursk to rally public support for the Biden admin allowing Ukraine to fire long-range ATACMS into Russia.

Now the allies state that N Korean troops have not been seen in combat for three weeks.

Were N Korean soldiers ever there in the first place? Multiple major news outlets reported “no soldiers who talked to [our journalists] had encountered [N Koreans] in battle.” Zelensky's "evidence" was also full of inconsistencies, implausibilities, and based on unverified videos.
