Just a humble user of #Bitcoin and #TheNostr, exploring and learning! #Austrich

I love it. I can see the market for it. I see "xyz for Nostr" directly attacking every business SaaS and winning. There's absolutely a market here, and the unique value that Nostr provides is not just going to catch them sleeping, it will be unassailable. Incumbents cannot directly compete on interoperability without destroying their own moats. I'm here for it!

Setting up my own relay. Very cool feeling

Air reply cooked my entire timeline.

Nostr everything for enterprise. Slack for Nostr, Salesforce for Nostr, Atlassian for Nostr, interoperable with every other specialist micro app. Data and account portability, huge app ecosystem, default Interoperability, no lock ins. These are the things every business customer is looking for.

Thanks, I see the NIP. If you'll humour me, two questions. 1. Why do no clients use this? No offline seed backup, no second/third/etc accounts derived from same seed. 2. What would be the best use in practice? Would we treat Account as an account, and then use all the pub/priv keys generated underneath for some purposes of that account e.g. key rotation. Or some other use?

Certainly not pulling your leg. Non technical here, sorry if that was a silly question. No Nostr client has yet prompted me to make an Xpriv/pub or offered HD or mnemonic in key generation step (vs, say every Bitcoin wallet always does so). It would use useful surely (e.g. personal, company accs; backup/recovery accs; etc).

I as an individual make decisions. But 1) Those decisions are based on the things learned from my experiences, which are ultimately already determined and thereby my decision is "deterministic" in that it if you a) had all the same experiences you would probably make the same decision and b) if you knew all my experiences you could probably guess my decision, and 2) What small amount of true free will remains to drive action is a) going to deliver both intended and unintended outcomes where there's never any guarantee that the intended is more impactful than the unintended, and b) ultimately inconsequential in the context of history/the universe regardless.
