Speaking of Shantae, just finished risky's revolution with the daughter. Probably the worst of the series but nevertheless it's a Shantae game.

A few off the top of my head:

Psychacks

John Vervaeke

Also, Robert Breedlove has a lot of great stuff that Bitcoin ties to but isn't necessarily about Bitcoin.

Handing 'em out for free now eh, I already paid for it back in the day 😄

The point you made in your post was very hard to understand because:

1) women do this in a completely subconscious way. They will claim that they do not, but their actions beg to differ big time

2) Any man who has self-respect , had the privilege to engage with different women, and is emotionally present, will testify 100% that what you said is true. Most of us had that past experience where you "bent" too much to women requests and they lose all respect for you. It's about the balance between compromising with the other and totally annul yourself for the other.

This "fine line" also reminds me of when women say they want an emotionally open man, but if the man opens too much and show too much weakness then the women also lose respect for him! For us men is a difficult situation that we have to constantly balance just right

nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejz7qpqhspwpfkq7qddnj6h52c03muzgx79l7teeez99n57ys77g4m4vujsxx80sy , I don't think it is about playing games, it's more about testing/natural selection: you want to see what kind of person your partner is made of, and there is nothing wrong in wanting to test if your man has self-respect and has limits.

I think we men also test women (we all test each other in the end, as it should be), can't speak for other men (please chip in) but what I test a woman for is "when there is a difficolty/obstacle how do you react? Do you crawl into a corner and cry, or do you face it and react with actions and optimism?). I also test women to see how anxious they are (women do tend to be more anxious than men on average) because it is really hard to be with someone who is really anxious (at least for me, since I am on the opposite side of the spectrum)

Peace and love everybody, and please let's not make it a men vs women, we love each other and always had, let's get back to it !!

Thanks for weighing in. I pretty much agree with most of what you wrote. However, a man has to learn to test his woman, at least I did and every other man I know. It doesn't come natural to us. That was also part of the point I was making. To clarify the differences between us so that people can have more chance at success in their love life.

That's exactly right and indeed what I meant. Has nothing to do with codependency. It's not in a woman's nature to understand her own nature, though to every rule there's always exceptions. But women in general don't occupy themselves with figuring stuff out, and especially so regarding their own relationships. Because nature made it so they don't have to.

Women are inherently loved, unlike men, who have to be able to provide a lot more than simply existing in order to be loved. Problem therein lies if he provides everything she asks for, her nature is not to respect this and feel unsafe because she feels like she can push him around, which is a sigm of weakness, even if he's just doing it out of love.

Chopin is great indeed! Nocturne op.9 no. 2 in particular is my favorite. But I haven't tried any of his pieces yet. Of the usual great classic ones all I've played so far are Satie and Beethoven. I might give it a shot, thanks for the suggestion.

A good morning to relax with some piano tunes. Sorry the recording quality isn't great.

Sensitivity can be good or bad. It's how you put it to use that matters.

Oh cool, then perhaps check out my 'carefree afternoons' on wavlake haha, should be right up your alley.

It was decent, loved the opening theme.

It was an interesting premise for sure, money&trading + wolp god.

Haven't checked the remake though, the ending felt like an ending already so I doubt it will improve the overall story.

If you question nothing you think you have all the answers 🙃

Finished Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma's main story. The ending starts to drag a bit when you're stuck bouncing between islands that all feel pretty similar, fighting the same bosses again. It gets repetitive, but thankfully that part doesn't last too long. The story mostly recovers by the end, though the final boss is a bit of a letdown and the soundtrack doesn't do those last few scenes any favors.

Story-wise, I won’t say too much since plot has never been Rune Factory’s strong suit. While I did care about a few characters, the story itself is pretty predictable and feels shallow in some spots. It’s really the characters that carry it. The combat is fun enough to keep things moving, but I didn’t find much depth in it, and I’m not sure there is any. The main plot issue also gets solved way too quickly, and the villain is forgiven in just a few lines, which felt weird and kind of rushed.

Even with those flaws, this is easily my favorite Rune Factory game so far. It has the best overall soundtrack (even if the ending tracks are forgettable), the strongest cast of characters and romance options, and the best gameplay the series has had to date. I used to give that title to RF: Oceans, with RF5 coming close, but this one takes the lead. I'm still a bit on the fence about the farming changes, but I think it was time for the series to evolve, and I welcome the new direction. That said, some quality-of-life tweaks are needed, like being able to micromanage your workers more easily.

Also, shoutout to the protagonists, who are hands down the best in the series. I played as Kaguya and Yui Ishikawa’s voice work was an absolute joy to listen to. I’ll definitely do another run as Subaru just to romance her.

Still need to dive into the post-game, but overall this one's a solid 7/10. Good, fun, and something I’ll likely return to. Definitely worth grabbing on Steam, especially if it gets a good discount.

I also finished it, found it disappointing in retrospect. Was more addictive than enjoyable to me. I would recommend harvestella instead, it's also a farming sim but with some existential nier vibes lol. Also has a good OST! Don't let the generic name fool you, it's an underrated gem.

All good, dude. Congrats again on winning the open source culture thing btw, I'm looking forward to figuring out the hidden code!
