Turns out connecting a #Ledger to a #qubesos qube is easier than I thought it would be.
- plug the Ledger into the laptop
- attach Ledger to qube
- add Ledger udev rules using this script
https://github.com/LedgerHQ/udev-rules/blob/master/add_udev_rules.sh
And that's about it.
I'm looking to pick up archery with the kids. Are there any bow types you'd recommend over others for getting started? I feel drawn to the Japanese and Mongolian styles I've come across.
That's my understanding too. I wanted to see at least a trickle of sats come through, as least for now, which is why I switched.
Curious why you chose ck pool? I was getting bored with public pool, so decided to switch to nostr:nprofile1qqsq9k04vahllseell55m74n3047y88pzlr0z5yany32st29fapqmgsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghxy6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctc87ckyu to try lightning payouts.
I've had The Problem of Increasing Human Energy on my to-read list for too long
When I had my #bitaxe connected to public pool I saw many shares submitted regularly.
Now that I switched to nostr:nprofile1qqsq9k04vahllseell55m74n3047y88pzlr0z5yany32st29fapqmgsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghxy6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctc87ckyu I barely see any shares submitted.
Is this to be expected and if so, why?
So I've setup a lightning address in Phoenix wallet, yet this article seems to indicate there is no way to use the address in Nostr.
Am I reading this correctly? Is there amy non-custodial lightning wallet that can be used with nostr?

How to add a ligtning wallet address to a Nostr profile -
Option 1 - Quick and easy, compromising custody
- Use a custodial wallet like nostr:nprofile1qqst4qyeqenw7zm0fwjsty68h6cnys5jre2xd8ngqpjv5a2j26s78fspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm0d9hx7uewd9hj75a0pev or Wallet of Satoshi to get an @domain ligtning receive address to add to your profile
- Sweep from that wallet to a self-custodial wallet like Phoenix or Electrum
Thanks to those whose comments in the below thread helped me figure this out.
Option 2 - More involved, doesn't compromise custody
- Work in progress, more soon, suggestions welcome and encouraged
I'm trying to connect to nostr:nprofile1qqsq9k04vahllseell55m74n3047y88pzlr0z5yany32st29fapqmgsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghxy6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctc87ckyu but get "Invalid job nonce found" How can this be fixed?
Resetting the Bitaxe after updating and saving the new pool info in the config cleared the errors.

Thanks for confirming
"your node" = my lightning node?

While I admittedly run code and don't write it, I know enough to know I don't like python
I've been on nostr for a while now, yet still don't have a lightnimg address associated with the account.
What's your preferred non-custodial, linux-friendly lightning wallet?

I have't looked, since I created/found a suitable place for the Bitaxes. If you come across anything, please let me know!
put this bigass heatsink and pwm fan on my #nmaxe so its nice and quiet. The deafult configuration was way to loud. How is the #bitaxe in this regard, is it loud? Didn't get my hands on one yet? #solomining #mining #bitcoin https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/546b924fb57b1b3b243092465a74333f536e18bf46ec63fdbc732d6b5719729d/e0678a005284645091a9ad9be3ef51cf6e67709cc5c19202a6beee44d38ce35b.webp
Loud enough that it will be distracting if you put it in a living space
Today I distro-morphed a #qubes template from #debian to #kicksecure
Not bad for a Sunday afternoon
Many thanks, if I don't catch it this year, I'll be ready for next year!
Thank you for the offer. What site or tool is useful to determine when different regions are in season?
Thanks! I'll have a look around...
