Looks like the flow into #nostr of new users has cooled down & the temporary boost of "novelty" activity is being whittled down to those who have made a real commitment to dedicating in Nostropolis.

I think this will be a good time to work out kinks, experiment with stupid or weird ideas, and start testing things that aren't quite ready for a full release yet.

In other words, we could be in a short term Nostr bear market so it's a great opportunity to explore & experiment.

It doesn’t “fix poverty,” but it solves an enormous systemic theft and breakdown of value communication in society that causes tons of poverty that wouldn’t have otherwise occurred.

I am still a relatively noob to bitcoin (class of 22) and I don’t understand what and how it does to your mind. It was close to $50k when I started buying and it has done nothing but go down and I have kept buying every single paycheck. I’m underwater on price and have yet to see a single fiat gain but I don’t care.

If anything I am less stressed and more calm holding bitcoin. It doesn’t make sense. If it was a stock or bond I would have sold out long ago but I don’t think of it as a investment. It’s savings and a safe haven.

Digital dumpster diving is how I find some of my best stuff. 😆

How do you like Obsidian? I’m a long-time, daily Roam Research guy, but Obsidian is looking good.
