How did you approach it with her?
I’ve chatted with her enough every time that I just asked her if she had a personal bitcoin tip jar, then told her to download Wallet of Satoshi when she said no. Then she just did it.
I mentioned tipchain, told her it was custodial. I said there’s lots of technical stuff I could explain like if I wanted to go into how email works, but the point is; it’s money that exists entirely in the internet, there is no government or company that runs it, and it lets people send you money from anywhere in the world as easily as sending you an email.
Then I sent her 21,000 sats and she was like “oh that’s cool.” I’m betting she will spend the rest of the day thinking about it as the tips come rolling in.
