Sorry to hear this. A damn shame what’s going on in SF right now.
What happened to Paxful is unfortunate. Bitcoin needs OFFERS and it CAN be done.
Do it, core members.
I actually didn’t know this and was on cryptsy back in the day.
Yeah, any developer chasing the Twitter audience will be making a mistake. It reminds me of all the Facebook clones that tried to mimic the timeline experience only to inevitably give up because the network effects were too strong to overcome without a major differentiator.
I can see the appeal of grabbing used stuff instead of the new threads inside.
A little mystery.
Assuming this isn’t possible in San Francisco or NYC.
All solid points by Matt regarding platforms. I hope the next generation of these tools prioritizes the focus on individual connections with the optionality to meet one on one or in groups easier. The noise is unbearable and with tools generating fake images, remote social consequences is much more important than when I thought about this all the time.
My old friends at tendigi in nyc threw out a proof of concept many years ago partly based on my work that can be checked out on the link below. They decided to focus solely on dating, my thoughts were a bit more broad.

If anyone wants to read my full notes (long), I’ll dig them up. I haven’t written code in years, no desire to do so anymore.
I’m a bit worried about companies shutting operations in the United States and talent going overseas. Have your disagreements about ‘crypto’ all you want, but with recent proposals about using VPNs hidden behind pressure to ban tiktok should worry everyone.
Bittrex isn’t a large player in the U.S. anymore, but was an exchange I recommended to people years ago to grab their first sats.
RIP
In what world does this response make any sense? Do you think Dorsey is Satoshi?
Unbelievable, we have conditioned people into thinking that data hoarding for profit is perfectly fine. https://twitter.com/needcreations/status/1640356887722881026?s=46&t=NLs6cpR4Z2Ec9tArLkqhLw
I don’t see many issues with the one app that has helped my older family members get comfortable buying bitcoin.
Waiting patiently on the hardware wallet Jack.
Ah, the wallstreetbets proposed bank run. I hope it blows over. Many places, specifically low income still require money orders for rent.
