You pay between 20% and 30% of the profit (Depending on country).

You have a lot of Bitcoin:

In some countries you will pay wealth tax.

You have a lot of unrealized gains:

In many countries they are trying to apply this, soon we will have the first country to do so.

If you have bought bitcoin with KYC you are screwed, the exchanges will end up passing all the data to the states and their respective tax offices.

If you have non-kyc bitcoin you can only use it to buy a soda, if you use it to buy a car or a house they will accuse you of money laundering, drug trafficking or whatever they want.

And you think bitcoiners have won? You can go to a country that has more lax tax regulations but tax havens are becoming increasingly difficult.

You have to try to make Bitcoin legal tender, and to do this you have to use your Bitcoin, and you have to accept Bitcoin as payment, only by creating a large black market where you do not have to pay taxes you can bend the state, otherwise your Bitcoin will only enrich the state.

Last time i bought on #bisq the seller opened a dispute because my name in bisq didn't match the one he received the fiat from.. He actually only did so because the bisq UI explicitly told him to do so..

My name has changed because i got married.. However, there seems to be no way to change the name of the account in #bisq...

So i would need to create a new one and lose my account age and signed account and i would be back to the limits..

Or i just keep using this account and have the fear that everytime i buy the seller opens a dispute (most of the sellers however seem to not care about the name if they receive the correct amount, never happened before)

If you want #privacy then embrace compartmentlization and obscuration in your digital life. Get used to having multiple identities that you can switch between for various needs.

Your legal "matrix" name that pays taxes and has no controversal opinions or associations. Don't try to obscure this person. They are a open book. Put your best foot forward. Show them what you want them to see.

Your private online persona. You let your hair down, have hot takes on social media, purchase legal but potentially embarrassing items or just have hobbies and associations that you are not ashamed of but don't want to advertise for some reason. You use a VPN and no kyc sudo anonymous accounts. Have fun but don't go crazy, know that on a long enough timeline this persona will be linked back to you. The more connections and data that you put out there the easier this will be.

Your anonymous nym that only uses #tor, VMs, hidden drives, and rarely used accounts. Plausible deniability is baked in. Used by dissidents, freedom fights, truth to power, and anyone in oppressive regimes.

Finally you have your Nemo. This person does not exist. No name, no files and only uses #Tails or disposable systems that does not leave a trace. Not everyone would ever have a need for a Nemo but it is good to know how to just in case you ever do.
