Different ecash protocols and/or mints on one protocol remind of when libertarians describe free banking with different competing currencies.
Ecash seems very interesting so far.
So let’s say in a very high fee environment it’s unfeasible for you to open a lightning channel to pull sats from an e cash mint (assuming you don’t have a lightning channel open yet). Could just pay another mint to do it for you and they take a % cut and pay you out with e cash tokens they minted instead?
