Not yet, but it can be built. Klingons haven’t entered Nostr yet, though, as far as I can tell.
There’s multiple layers of this. There’s no need to replace Git, it’s already decentralized. Just need to add the repository discoverability, social layer (comments, issue tracking, and pull requests, linking to blocks of code), and a UI on top. This is totally doable and so much potential to unlock. I don’t have the capacity to take it on but am looking forward to seeing what comes from other developers.
Keep giving this feedback to those developers and it’ll get good enough for what you’re looking for eventually.

This protocol is still in its infancy. No need for infighting and calling people out imo 🫂💜
We all want the ecosystem to grow 🙂
I agree with everything you said. I’m just stating what happens when you don’t listen to user feedback.
People keep asking about Damus for Android. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s less likely to gain. But a better question would be what feedback can I give to developers of alternative Android Nostr clients to improve them enough for me to use comfortably.
Case study for what happens when you don’t listen to user feedback. nostr:note1le5gae46jyjnf34w6t6ywrunsw45kmf3kmjg6e2q5t2mlyqv08lsv594uk
Hmmm should we add binary to the languages supported by https://nokyctranslate.com ?
😂
#[2] could we actually do this in damus?
This can just be done client-side if we wanted to without a server call. There was also a semi-serious feature request with translating Morse code too.
My wife #[0] is collecting donations on her birthday to help with the war in Ukraine. If you feel like that’s something you’d like to help with, please zap her post! #zapraiser #ukraine nostr:note1p455z2aw0yzl3mstxsy2pkqw63evfnaywkm5fyn3z5pxavxx3r8spcrwf9
I sent all of your zaps to her wallet. Thanks, everyone!
