Too modest. Understating your value add to Nostr and the social media space in general. Unrelated, I'm impressed at how quickly your voice recovered in time to do a talk at Nostrica and to be interviewed for this documentary.

I attended this university. This is accurate.

nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 I added optional time zone fields to the start and end timestamps of the calendar event kind. Please take another look when you get a chance.

nostr:npub1c0nfstrlj0jy8kvl953v84hudwnpgad0zx709z0ey7nmjp0llegslzg243 is what I meant but also I was playing around with the idea of forking an open source calendar app like Etar and making it work for Nostr via this NIP.

I haven’t had much time to focus on it as of late but I’ll jump back into NIP discussions. I’m hoping to implement it in my client soon.

I think you meant best part.

I have a hilarious idea, following the success of nostr:npub1wxl6njlcgygduct7jkgzrvyvd9fylj4pqvll6p32h59wyetm5fxqjchcan

What if someone releases a pure iOS Nostr profile zapping client. Its sole purpose is to show you a list of profiles whose notes you have emoji reacted to but haven’t zapped yet, which can be determined by either:

1. Presence of a zap from you on the reacted note, or

2. Timestamp of your last zap to the profile

Its prompt is simply something like “zap these profiles”. It won’t show you the actual note content, and the code would zap only the profile.

Instead of needing someone to run a live server like Zapple Pay, the user would need to manually tap the button but the app would make it easy so all you need to do is keep tapping ⚡️ until you zapped everyone.

What’s told to Apple? “It’s just a way to tip people on Nostr”, which is true. It’s not showing any digital content to the user.

Not anytime soon. 😅 Vitor seems to be pretty speedy with development, so I think Amethyst will be alright.

I’m still a Damus contributor and iPhone user, but I’m exploring the Android landscape for self education and other app development purposes.

Second tour of duty but first time on freedom mode. 🫡 Used Android for 10 years and left it for the iPhone two years ago. iPhone is still my primary device but wanted to educate myself on the current landscape.

I’m using Obtainium instead of F-Droid so that I can choose to install and auto-update from the developer’s source website APKs in addition to centralized repositories like F-Droid.
