I prefer Debian as it avoids all Canonical (Ubuntu) weirdness, like Snap packages and "ESM" freemium security update stuff... Ubuntu and Mint are based on Debian.

How To Set Up a Wireguard VPN Server + PiHole-style adblocking with Unbound on OpenBSD

Worst case scenario AFAICT would be they raise FFR even higher to 6-7% and keep it there for a year. Ends catastrophically, of course, at which point they cut to zero and try to resuscitate the victim (dead economy). I have a bearish hard-money advocate friend who thinks BTC could drop to 1-3K again in that scenario. Me? I could see 10K again, lowest... But after that? Watch out! 🚀

Let's go with all 3 scenarios:

- Dollar breaks higher (120+ DXY)

- ETH deemed a security, delisted in US

- 30% added tax on electricity for PoW mining

Honey Badger DGAF:

- Off-grid + home miners carry on!

Rates and the Dollar are major headwinds for bitcoin. A 2nd surge in inflation would be bad in the short-term.

Just check out what 2-year yields have done since Nov., 2021 while bitcoin has been going down.

Apparently I had somehow "unfollowed" everyone I was previously following. #bug?

Hit me up if I'm not following you again for some reason.

last week I think I added some extra relays... wouldn't think that would hurt things though...

don't know what is going on but it's weird: iris.to nothing loads but my own posts under 'Following' and on Amethyst it only loads the posts of one other user who I'm following...

#OpenBSD: Initial support for guided disk encryption in the installer

The OpenBSD installer now has basic support for configuring disk encryption during the regular installation process. Previously, disk encryption needed to be set up manually by dropping to the shell from the installer.

Initial support, likely to be expanded upon, was committed by Klemens Nanni (kn@) on March 7, 2023.
