I executed a PUT instead of a POST (replace instead of append) without realizing. There seems to be no way to recover it. There was shit on that list that I will likely never be able to find again. This legit sucks. 😭

Beats not having a source of income and starving. You're right though. Modern furniture sucks. My house is built with that stuff. Don't spill anything.

So I finally got the f#@$ing heater core assembly out of my 98 Dodge Dakota. What a pain in the ass.

I really hope it goes back in easier than it came out.

A while back my heater core started leaking in my 98 Dodge Dakota. 🛻 I bypassed it as a quick fix.

Today I'm going to start the heater core replacement. I have to tear out my entire dash and possibly my steering column as well.

I'm not looking forward to this as it seems like it's going to be a nightmare.

Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Even worse when you’re the carpenter and the customer 😬. I finally accepted the fact that “this shouldn’t take me long” is a faint hope at this point. My wife knows to not even ask how long something takes now. I spent 4 good hours on this header because it had to look seamless, not just “good”. Still have finishing work, but it turned out amazing!

I’d love to have my own mill. Remodeling a hundred old house is a pain when you’re trying to customize new work to old dimensions and standards.

I finished the last piece of a clients bathroom remodel. I left my job as a designer in an architecture firm several years ago and now on top of the design and drafting work I do for clients, I also take on a lot of the build myself. It has made me a better designer understanding the challenges of building a home...even this simple bench.
