The Bitcoin Review podcast deserves far more recognition. Itâs brilliant to bring people up to speed with the latest going-ons with Bitcoin, Lightning and even Nostr.
A tip of the hat to#[0] and all his guests.
Happy birthday #[0]â! You and #[1]â are the perfect match, and bitcoiners the world over are lucky to have you guys!
The same people that told you lockdowns were necessary, are the same people telling you that we're now in a climate emergency. Comply with these scumbags at your peril.
Whatâs the best iOS app for real time BTC price alerts (as push notifications).
Happy to give 5000 sats to the person who recommends the app I start using.
*being non-custodial
What mobile apps arenât custodial? I seem to remember acinqâs eclair being custodial, not sure if thatâs still around?
So, can we talk about key rotation, and howTF itâs possible with Nostr keys?
You get hacked on twitter, you change your password.
You get your Nostr keys compromised, youâre fâcuked.
Another đŹđ§ merchant now accepting âĄď¸ https://spittingfeathers.co.uk/home/ Nationwide delivery and cracking beer. 2 tap rooms will also accept imminently once I get up there and train the staff. đť
Doing the lordâs work out there Hashley. A tip of that hat to you good sir.
Is this the moment that risk-managers finally see sense and put money into the hardest money humanity has ever seen, Bitcoin.
I hope so.
Would be amazing if I could embed audio files in notes on damus.
Hope you can make it so!
#[0]â any chance you can allow mp3/audio uploads on nostr.build?
Good feelings or bad? I get the feeling that things are about to implode pretty badly and bitcoin will be the phoenix rising from the ashes. Just a hunch though ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Youâre actually growing on me. Loved the Newton reference.
Donât shed a tear for me though. I believe bitcoin will succeed, but even if it didnât, Iâve funded IVF with bitcoin âgainzâ and have two beautiful children from it.
Bitcoin is far more than just âgainzâ though. Itâs a movement. A movement towards rooting out the completely corrupt and unfair monetary system that has served the people closest to the printers. I genuinely believe itâs our last shot at real freedom.
When people have their CBDCâs, those same people wonât be looking to bitcoin for the âgainzâ theyâll be looking at it as the only viable option to spend the value that theyâve earned on the goods and services they wish to obtain.
If youâre into Austrian economics, I canât understand why youâre so against bitcoin.
I founded and run a successful digital agency, servicing clients such as global broadcasting brands, and football clubs. Pretty sure theyâd tell you that weâre rather productive.
Difference is, I have consistently ensured a piece of my salary goes into bitcoin, and that is how it should be for everyone that can afford to squirrel away any additional disposable income they have.
Itâs amazing. I was a sceptic, but it pretty much cured a back injury from the gym when nothing else worked.
They've been brrrring the money printers for years now. https://saylortracker.com is down 34% which means Saylor could own $1.3BN more BTC if only he HODLd USD through all the FUD about inflation until March 2023.
https://nayibtracker.com is down 50% or could buy 50% more BTC if he HODLd USD until March 2023 instead of believing your prophecies and trying to 'get in early'.
But the reason for this prophecy is 'the macro economic outlook has never looked as fucked as it does now'. Yeah it has. Think back a few years.
Bitcoin is a risky asset because it has a centrally planned, artificially fixed rate of supply that is unresponsive to changes in market demand. With a market determined rate of supply, the supply could fluctuate to counter-balance swings in demand. It doesn't have a market-determined rate of supply, so is guaranteed to be volatile, all it takes is for a whale to swing demand by selling to himself artificially high or low to 'prime' the price before a large move. Happens every month.
No one is telling you to buy bitcoin, so please - save me your diatribe. Iâve been following bitcoin for over 10 years now. If you think it canât do a cheeky 10-20x in the next 2-3 years, then put your money into something else.
How much time have you got? In short, the macro economic outlook has never looked as fucked as it does now, and I think things will accelerate quickly.
They will have no other option than to turn the money printers on⌠again, and likely for a long, long time. That money will find its way into hard, unconfiscatable assets, ala Bitcoin.
Iâve never been more bullish on bitcoin than I am right now. There could be a bit of short term pain ahead but 2025 will be glorious.
They want to scoop up your sats at a knock down price. Don't do it. HODL strong. Remember the reasons for you buying bitcoin in the first place. Nothing has changed.
