I love 0xChat. It has undoubtedly evolved into a beautifully designed well working chat app. The ecash functionalities have been also built in so seamlessly and everything just works. I just wish you would get rid of the "Discovery" tab. I have really no use for it. The app should be limited purely to chats imo. And I find the “Requests” tab under “Contacts” a bit confusing somehow. Maybe request should just pop up under “Home”?
Thanks for the recommendation.
Yeah, and unfortunately they are talking lots of other nonsense recently.

What if privacy comes to Bitcoin, but the Saylor'd community rejects it and it never gets adopted?
Listen to Robin Linus (BitVM), Liam Eagen (Alpen Labs) & Jonas Nick (Blockstream) answer this question on S15 E38 of the Bitcoin Takeover podcast, during which they explain their Shielded Client Side Validation paper – a proposal that can help Bitcoin get 100 private transactions per second!

Saylor can go fuck himself.
Guy my dude. You hit the nail on the head, as always, in less than 5 minutes. Didn’t know this video. It’s great. How do you bring this video to TikTok now? However this video probably already exceeds the attention span of the common TikTok user… ;(
(never been on TikTok, are videos with that length even allowed there?)
Yea Will implemented this after he was really pissed off 😂
No, the script is always enabled on my #damus :)
Weird is that I can’t zap you…
How could I miss that? :o
But I wouldn’t use it anyway because of my bad experience with NWC.
Been off nostr for a while and seems like things have changed in the iOS client space. nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s am I right that the only option for connecting a wallet to Damus is Alby or Nostr Wallet Connect? NWC is really brittle for me, stops working after a day or two and I need to reconnect. Is there any way to connect via LNDHub?
I don’t think that #damus does support NWC at all, but NWC sucks anyway. Never worked for me. To this day I zap manually. Press on the ⚡️button, open default wallet (which is eNuts on my phone) and then authorize the payment by swiping the slider. When you got used to it, it's not that bad of a hassle ;)
I don’t think that Apple Phones are insecure per se. Quite the contrary. According to the recently leaked documents you could see that newer iPhones (iPhone 12 and above iirc) weren’t even crackable by Celebrite if the iPhones were in BFU-mode (“Before First Unlock”). Same does apply to newer Pixel Phones btw. And as an iPhone user consider enabling Lockdown-Mode which hardens the phone against Pegasus attacks. Get used to restart your phone once a day (kicks things like Pegasus out). For this you can set an automation in the Shortcut App. But yes, I feel you. Our phones might already be pwned, but then again I ask myself: if this is the case, why all this SignalApp ban, e2ee ban, VPN ban attempts from several governments in the world, if they supposedly already see everything what we are doing on our phones? Makes no sense to me. But you cannot be 100% sure of course. If you can, turn off your phone and talk to the people in the meet space.
Tried out OxChat to avoid the DM reporter bot.
Seems like it’s working.
Also, there are some messages people sent me that I can only see there, and do not show up on Damus or Primal’s DM screens… 👀 even an important one from months ago
I think this one does count as #nostrability nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5
Yes, these are gift-wrapped messages. Since Damus and Primal haven’t implemented them yet, you cannot see them in these apps. Though you will see them in #Amethyst. They will be marked with a little icon (guy wearing hat and sunglasses).
Good decision. Windows itself became a virus. I don’t know what you mean by “Microsoft Laptop”, but I found that Linux works pretty good on Acer Laptops which are also very affordable. Just start with Ubuntu, Pop!_OS or Linux Mint and see if you like it. Basically all you have to do is get a USB-stick, flash a Linux Distro of your choice on it, plug the stick into your laptop, reboot and follow the instructions. Just visit one of the aforementioned distro websites. You’ll always find the instructions on there. And maybe this podcast episode could be worth listening to:
