its #nostrafterdark lets get spooky
Sometimes you got to get a little aggro
Not sure what you mean
Done. Just made it the default
thats pretty easy
You on build 5 ?
Drunk coding challenge. Someone suggest something I could implement in Damus in an hour in damus and I will push a build with it at the end.
cc nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5 we can use this to support 15 again
This March iOS starts allowing 3rd-party AppStores. Still on its own rules and only in Europe but its a shift. As I understand (may be wrong here though) most popular Androids don’t let you chose stores, they just bundle theirs own
What if we make an AppStore client on nostr that works with NIP1 (maybe a couple more simple nips) that allows you to run your own store? You could even make it compatible with android, windows etc if you want. And partner with Strike to allow in-app purchases with bitcoin
Of course, even if our open-source community manages to accomplish this project technically, we won’t be able to run it on our iphones since someone would have to operate the platform and pass Apple’s review which I believe would be near to impossible, at least for the first time
But if we would build some skeleton/prototype, there could appear more companies willing to make business on that and promote nostr as a sideeffect
Googling “open-source app store” gives me zero relevant results

The entitlement to run a third party appstore requires a $1 million dollar letter of credit and charges a €.50/user/year fee for downloaded apps. It’s malicious compliance that likely won’t work in practice.
it was either drop it or be stuck with broken navigation. But im still wondering how nostr:npub1n0sturny6w9zn2wwexju3m6asu7zh7jnv2jt2kx6tlmfhs7thq0qnflahe got 15 support working in nostur.
nostr is dead didn’t you get the memo
Oh i should actually just read the thing you sent me
Does it hide someone if the score is too low?
Fullscreen doesn’t have this issue though
Hi nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s is there a chance you could develop a pwa / web version of Damus similar to https://app.plebstr.com/ so we can bypass Apple restrictions?
because that would expose your private key to the web which would be horribly insecure.
Yes, the private key is exposed. My guess is nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s probably managed to grab it before me because BlueWallet wouldn’t let me spend a 1 conf UTXO. 😁
I didn’t grab it, i sent it
Wouldn’t the handshake fail and then 🤷♂️
No mans sky and RuneScape are two of my favourite games. I guess I love the tedium 😅
I have almost 90 mining in ours.
Who else got theirs? Still waiting on mine 👀 nostr:note1m7p85a58w87mrxw74g8uupdszqjdtklewsxvgcpedhlkwm6lryps5y947p
I still think there are times you would want third parties to sign things on your behalf when you are not online (like a twitter crossposter for example), which is why I think delegation is important. You could just use nsecbunker if you had a node that was continuously on to sign things, but that will be hard for most people and will push people into custodial nostr.
it should load from the standard place. You can do a pure home setup but thats just annoying imo
This is bizarre to me. I’ve been running a CLN node since 2018 and i haven’t had many force closes or flakiness at all really. I’m starting to suspect people are complaining about lnd and not lightning.
This is a really good article nostr:note1nky6ghqdqjn0cactz5m63psqhp6pmwtygscsn6ueang06ajfwhvsf4zhvl
this is pretty interesting actually 🤔 PoW as a mechanism for adding a cost to production. you could see how much cumulative work went into a final item from the transitive input graph.
Can’t use bitcoin L1 directly because it’s slow and not meant for toys like gaming. Currently playing with the idea of ecash tokens backed by bitcoin. Players could get these bearer tokens as drops and trade them between players. I think it would work well! Maybe at the end the player could even cash out and in to grow the economy at a controlled rate.
