When you realize the actual problem is relentlessly present on every side, is it really even giving in by voting for as much free shit as possible? Do you vote dem for the stimmy while not hiding behind the hideous illusion that the alternative is somehow different or nobler?
There are many sides to being a bitcoiner, the optimistic hopeful side, the doomer cataclysmic fiat failure side, among others. Sometimes I fear and wonder if the latter will be its own little echo chamber for the next hundred years. Was that what gold was before bitcoin came along. How many of those gold bugs are STILL banging those drums, indignant that the castle hasn’t fallen. Am I that only digital?

Bitcoin was my escape from all of that. Once I learned about and understood Bitcoin, all of that ridiculous political theater faded away in greater meaninglessness.
