There is immense value in journaling so that you can understand, reflect on, and evaluate your mental state in real time as events develop without hindsight bias. Privately this can occur with pen and ink and also now the indelible #Nostr notes offer cryptographically signed, new ways for establishing a record (obviously there are trade offs)

Many will obviously panic sell and be gobbled up at lower rates by me and everyone else’s level headed buying. Resisting the emotional noise is easiest for those who understand the theory/fundamentals and buy on fixed intervals (DCA).

Would be interesting; explicitly stating the intent in the npub’s profile would be wise IMHO. No one with a brain would think Arthur Conan Doyle (who died in the 1930’s) was posting on Nostr but after a lot of interactions with tributary accounts, honest disclosure is appreciated 🫂

I haven’t gone to theaters in years but a group was going to see the new Bonhoeffer film. The movie was interesting but l’ll need some time to reflect on it before I have anything deep to share about the content.

What I will say now is that after paying almost $20 per ticket having the first 25 minutes be mostly advertisements is outrageous. It used to be just previews of other things to see but there were literally banks and megafood corps pushing their poisons

Made a second turkey this week. First one was a touch dry so this time I overnight wet brined it with a salt and seasoning mix to plump it up before sous vide cooking for 24 hours. Dripped on a melted butter & seasoning mix then did a quick finish in a hot smoker for the added flavor and the classic crispy exterior.
