Oh yes, the female hormones donated from the piss of degenerate women whose wombs werewasted upon them and the psych meds urine from the mind controlled are of grave concern. I have used a Berkey since 2007 but even they are all in on Made in China now. On the other hand, I did get a terrible bout of giardia from drinking river water. Dang it!
The fact that you can say that and not have people uninvite your kids from playdates and parties, call you a wacko, report you to The IRS is evidence that things have changed the last 15 years. There is not much we can do about "them" but there are things individuals can do to exit The Plantation. One thing though, it is very lonely so take people with you.
Do not marry The State (yes those marriage licenses do that)
Do not get your kids SSNs
Debank yourself (You basically become like a homeless person so measure twice, cut once)
Use dollars at brick and mortar biz. Once "cash" is completely replaced by digital, life is going to become quite painful so we need to prolong until we have more bitcoin infrastructure.
And a personal favorite: treat red lights as stop signs. 1) You will level up on paying attention while driving. 2). You will notice how many NPCs there are which will shock and relieve you 3). You will be reminded that your ability to make good choices supercedes The State's central planning and organizing. It is quite impactful for such a small act.
Lastly, as a freedom activist of 45 years, my network of people has saved my bacon more than any other single thing this world has to offer. Find your tribe and test their mettle as untested idealogues are worse than enemies.
Firstly, for what purpose are you drinking distilled water? Other than kidney failure, I've never known anyone to die from drinking water.
See what just happened? I thought you were commenting on the post regarding Nostr, not decentralized institutions in general. Chicken back to; How to improve Nostr. :)
Sugar booger. The post was not about how wonderful Nostr is but rather a post on suggestions to make it better. If you want to know what is better about Nostr according to users,, post a Q about that.
Lolz Yeah nobody was the welcome wagon in Twitter either but someone Pua aka BitcoinWife got the job done until retiring in 2014. The space was never the same.
Decentralized is not the be all, end all for every situation. A question was proposed regarding utility and suggestions. If Nostr wants to gate keep like a Maxi Hodler, then change nothing. But if it is to be a competitor with X, a welcome wagon like wiki how to would be helpful. If I could, I would.
1. Nobody expects to not be able to delete a reply.
2. #tags don't seem to be a thing so how can I search by topical word?
3. What is a zap and how do I give/get one?
4. Why are some accounts "verified"? and how/ why are accounts able to use the same nom but not be considered imposters?
5. How do I search for people?
The above are all Q's any reasonable Twitter convert would have. It seems easy enough to have something apps can add. I ended up signing up when a friend grabbed my hand, sent me a Primal link and walked me through the door. I had turned down those who suggested it to me the last 3 years similarly to how some try to on board people into bitcoin which is why thousands of wallets have btc in them but will never be recovered as the education was shallow.
I'm going to try it, but if one of my $$$ crowns crack, I will pepper you! 😁
How? Like on eggs? It seems too hard for table salt regardless but I can see it being okay for soups. How do you crush it?
HOLD to that!
Himalayan sea salt was all the rage but traces of arsenic were found. idk. But Celtic is great. It is not for cooking and will destroy a grinder. 4 or 5 lil rocks to suck on will do ya good. Lemme know after you try it what you think.
Woof! Bitcoiners veering in direction of yogis I knew 25 years ago who all started drinking their piss.
Celtic salt is great! I suck on a few rocks on long motorcycle rides, when it's hot or if I feel sluggish in the afternoon along with some vinegar water. Works great to revitalize.
I remember things a bit differently. Before 2014, I never once heard the term "shitcoin". Charles Hoskinson and I, were asked to create and host a show to be called Let's Talk Altcoin, which we did a few shows of to feel it out. Lightcoin and Ethereum were definitely not referred to as shitcoins. Despite never calling myself a Maxi, I guess I can claim rights to it considering I was the only one around only into bitcoin. So shitcoin came AFTER bankers joined post Silkroad. Zooko came along with Zvash much later and after Vitalik bit the big one forking the chain after DAO hack, much to my and other's dismay. As for Snowden, I can understand his desire for greater security. OGs, early adopters and the generation called enthusiasts don't seem to have the same animus for alts that the later gens do. Bitcoin has also become a very culty space where competition is bad, personalities reign over principles and the echo chambers clang loudly. It's a bummer as it has polluted and poisoned people. From my view, Bitcoin Community was what the feds and their collaborators practiced on to divide and conquer before the country then world at large. No good deed goes unpunished.
Ooohhh, Bible! The eye of the needle was the entry to the market. Camels had to have all packs removed to squeeze themselves through the opening. It was a safeguard against theft. The Middle East thousands of years ago must have been a real trip!
Be careful what you wish for.
It's taken me three years to join and it's only been a few days, but I am clueless how to navigate. An introductory "Welcome to decentralized social media platform blah blah. Here are a few tips: blah blah. Oh, and mind your P's and Q's as no mulligans are offered." at the point of installation would be helpful.
Incidentally, I've been strictly an on chain bitcoin user, never struck by LN. That is a whole other thing. Change tip was super easy that way.
Try a little nap or a short walk. You might need one of those brilliant chemicals like dopamine or serotonin. Be sweet but sugar don't eat. :)
I'm working on slowing my roll. Thanks for taking the time to clarify.
Are there any private banks? Certainly none unfettered by government regulation. I guess I see the banking system like an octopus. Anyway, different conversation. 👋
The promise is only "as good as cash" if 1) the bank has the reserves to cover it, and 2) you've provided adequate proof that said money is not tied to any real or imagined crime.
Yes, it's quite a wake up call to those who believe monetary policy is a protection. For those of us who used bitcoin to feed ourselves before any nation (the authority of monetary policies) had decided it was money, a token, a commodity, we were pretty sure on what it was: speech packets and the last bastion of secrets. The fear boys who came in post 2014 all say the same things. They just cannot stand the idea that they are not relevant.
When I was debanked in 2010, had my passport revoked and my 6 figure trading account levied, the value of bitcoin had zero to do with monetary policy. When I was removed from the intellectual and creative pool, stripped of access to financial services, and all privileges associated with The Plantation were revoked, monetary policy was last on my mind. But you're welcome.
