The state dropped money laundering and they pled guilty to money transmission. Expected sentences 3-5 years with actual time served probably 18 to 24 months

Graphene has a clean dialer. If you are using android maybe considering not using the stock Google one that automatically syncs to your Google account

15 minutes.

That’s all it takes to ditch the spyware, the noise, the profile trail.

Burn the old skin. Rebuild on your terms.

Own your phone or it owns you.

They track you because you let them. No complex hacks, no high tech breaches. Your complacency is their open door.

It’s your data. Your life. Your choice.

Stop feeding the beast. Start taking control.

What goes through my mind when they tell me it's for my safety.

We've had the internet for 30 years. Why are Western democracies suddenly deciding that it's too dangerous for the public without filters?

Has anyone been able to get #whitenoise to work? I can't seem to send messages and don't receive the ones people send me.

Mobile phones are needed for communications when out in the world but they are a nightmare for security. This is a guide for those with a elevated threat profile.

So what do you do when you need to talk but can’t afford to leave a trail?

You get a burner. Use it. Then burn it.

Default life is surveillance by design, but you’re here now, which means you’re ready to claw it back.

This is the ground zero protocol. The 5 moves that shift you from wide open to baseline hardened. If you are a total beginner but privacy curious, this is where you start.

Most people are born into a system they didn’t choose and then told to be grateful for it.

School. Job. Mortgage. Surveillance.

Swipe right. Smile for the camera. Accept all cookies.

Repeat until death or burnout, whichever comes first.

But some of us wake up.

And when you do, there’s no going back.

TIL I can use local access to nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll and access a self-hosted Robosats without ever leaving my local network… on an iPhone using Safari… am I correct that it’s sufficiently private (assuming my local network isn’t being monitored, and for good measure, using a router-level VPN)… without using Tor browser to play on Robosats?

For trading with strong pseudonymity? Probably good enough.

For adversary-level threat models (state, surveillance firms)? Still use Tor.

It’s not about silence. It’s about control.

Privacy isn’t isolation. It’s agency.

You already know enough to start.

The rest comes after the first step.

No one gets there clean. But you do have to move.

So stop hoarding insight like ammo.

Load one round.

Take the shot.

Wtf? I'll have to do some digging. It's running on WordPress with minimal plug-ins. Google indexes me but shouldn't pop that

And if you think your backups are private because you “don’t store them on Google,” think again.

Most people sleepwalk into backup strategies that work technically but fail tactically. You're backing up your files, yes. But you're also backing up your footprint. Your metadata. Your identifiers. Your exposure.

Off grid fantasies are a distraction, not a destination. The goal isn’t to vanish. The goal is to be harder to track, influence, or exploit.

You don’t have to disappear. You just have to stop being easy to find.

I'm tired boss

Are You Confusing Anonymity With Privacy?

One keeps you hidden. The other keeps you sovereign.

Some people vanish. Others take control.

And most confuse the two badly.

Let’s set the record straight.

https://untraceabledigitaldissident.com/are-you-confusing-anonymity-with-privacy/

Privacy feels boring until it’s gone.

Then it feels like freedom you didn’t know you had.

Don’t wait for the wake up call. Be boring now.

She's a 10, but only chats through Facebook Messenger

Let’s not pretend this is a mystery.

You use the apps. You visit the sites. You tap Agree without reading the fine print. And behind the scenes, a machine starts building you.

Piece by piece. Search by search.

Until you're not just a customer. You're a product.

It's not work if you're obsessed

Remember when the metaverse was going to be a thing?
