I don't keep swatch cards or anything like that; I don't have space, but I have a dedicated page in each notebook. The color after the name is a scribble of the ink, left for a moment to dry, and then brushed with a damp cotton swab; 
my way of testing for water resistance, and inkwash color.
People share stuff like this and makes me want to be a father even more.
