I feel torn between feelings of empathy and mischievous delight looking at the LA fires.

On the one side these are people who lost their homes, memories and livelihoods. They are probably confused, scared, sad and angry about what happened.

On the other side people living in these areas are very much responsible in accelerating #climatechange, which disproportionately affects people in less privileged communities throughout the globe.

Although I hope that these traumatic events will inspire some to zoom out and make changes, I feel most people will just go back to business as usual once the first shock is settled down.

I have no definite answers, I just feel that #Bitcoin might be a big part of the solution to fundamentally change the incentive structure of our global economic system, which will produce more and more disaster videos on your timeline until you get up and demonstrate change on #SaturdaysForSatoshi.

Proxmox would involve me changing my base system. Not really looking for that level of devotion to virtualization on my laptop. Good suggestion though.

Ok. Just spent 20 minutes trying to get virtualbox to work for like the billionth time over the past 15 years. That mother fucking 1908 error. Then do everything the wiki says and I still fucking get it.

Can anyone here help kick me of the virtualbox addiction? I am open to other options. I just want to easily import and export virtual machines with ease. A stupid simple easy to manage virtualization solution.

I have used virt-manager and gnome-boxes in the past.

Virt-manager is ok, but never really got it to work well enough for me to switch. Sometimes run into installation and configuration issues.

Love gnome boxes, but I need that import export feature for virtual machines. I would not figuring it out manually If that is possible. It has been awhile since I used it.

What are your virtualization suggestions for linux that are FOSS only. Please help.
