The reason I asked is because, when I heard about habla.news, I giggled and so did my friends, and the reason for that is "habla" means stupid/idiot (feminine). Does habla mean something in Spanish?
If you have the means to pay for hosting on cloudflare (5 dollars a month) and you like streaming you should really consider using https://live.snort.social/ it's in development but so far is amazing, and it only will get better.

Ye, I want to stream, tried all the options but their initial account creation process (the servers of the suggested services on Owncast) is a drag as they want to verify your account and takes a while. Still waiting.
Just coded up a random feature while on my flight home. nostr:npub1yaul8k059377u9lsu67de7y637w4jtgeuwcmh5n7788l6xnlnrgs3tvjmf added a post button to profile pages, so I added a feature where it pre-populates an @ mention of that user. Handy if you want to quickly @ someone from their profile. Apparently twitter has this feature, I’ve never used it, but it’s requested a lot! 🤔

I've always wanted to go back to playing MMORPGs, but nothing really captures me. Will Tarisland be that? Probably, not, but it looks nice and it does have character customization (not a fan of those hero MMOs), so it'll probably be a good snack.

So there's this new game that got released on PC via Steam as an Early Access title called Battlebit: Remastered.

It has been in development for a decent amount of time and with a shit-ton of playtests before it got released.
Honestly, it's a great game, where a lot would say it's the battlefield that never could (in regards to almost all modern battlefield games).
The price is low, the gameplay is super solid, and if you got that FPS/Battlefield itch, definitely give it a shot.

I've been wanting to make progress on a logo for Habla.news, so that there can be an icon for the nostr account ( nostr:npub1048qg5p6kfnpth2l98kq3dffg097tutm4npsz2exygx25ge2k9xqf5x3nf ) and the website.
Here are a few drafts of some different directions we could go with (See attached image).
1:
- Clean and not distracting (It's dark, but could do the same thing w/ a light theme)
- Maybe a little boring and doesn't give an idea of what the app does other than having to do w/ text
2:

- It's supposed to show the "h" and the circles in such a way that you can kinda see the outline of an ostrich, but not sure if that really lands

- This one is graphical and emphasizes that Habla is a place where conversation can happen
- Not sure if that should be the emphasis of the app branding vs writing

- Graphical feather pen showing both that Habla is a writing platform and is related somehow to the imagery of a bird/ostrich
- It might be kinda generic though with lots of writing apps using a feather pen
*Please give feedback on these! Colors and details can definitely be further refined, but wanted to think about the shape first.

Btw, you replied to this note, which is a note in the gaming community on kiwi, and your reply doesn't appear as a reply to the note in Gaming. Basically as a UX, this is all very confusing x3 (my expectation is that a community note doesn't appear normally on my timeline on non-communist nostr clients/apps, and replies to it would only be visible through communities.)
I introduced my friend to Nostr with nostr:npub1plstrz6dhu8q4fq0e4rjpxe2fxe5x87y2w6xpm70gh9qh5tt66kqkgkx8j , and when he saw it on his playstore he said "ugh.. it's a crypto thing?" because of the B logo.
Aside from the discussion we had, it made me think of... What if there'd be a design that shows Bitcoin to those who seek it, but not to normies..
