He has as much right to advocate for his position as anyone else, but he admittedly has more influence.
Anyway, do you really want corporate and ETF dev sponsors?
I don’t.
Why the hell do regulators get the money and not the defrauded clients?
Oh yeah, I forgot that government is an extortion racket.
Yes.
Especially paired with being self-employed.
The thought of commuting and working for someone else is repulsive.
My country tis of thee
Sweet land of liberty
For all eternity
Let freedom ring
Who are you talking about?
Most Bitcoiners that I’ve known and interacted with for years have no problem doing these things.
But being edgy for the sake of being edgy is tiring.
I disagree.
Most Bitcoiners are apolitical if anything.
Focusing on differences and antagonizing others is a recipe for a stressful existence.
It is much more productive to focus on commonalities.
If this is your default behavior it is much easier to align with the nonaggression principle.
That’s not to say that there’s no place for confrontation, but it doesn’t need to be a default mode.
Observation:
Posts on Nostr are much less “edgy” than those on Twitter.
Despite being able to post freely about any topic, Nostr postrs don’t seem compelled to make edgy statements.
It seems that an awareness of suppression makes many people more inclined to test the limits of suppression.
In an environment where suppression is not an issue, people are free to focus on things that are enjoyable, creative, and productive.
Will Nostr thrive without the drama and controversy that other social media algorithms optimize for?
Yes.
I hold very similar beliefs, and I do my best not succumb to a victim mentality which is the worst poison.
I just got here.
Simone explain zapping to me like a regarded bird app user.
I’m only on Damus at the moment.
Probably no one that’s on nostr. lol
