Living life and doing work.

The concepts are platform neutral, I gravitated to emacs because of personal interest and I like that my org-mode files are human readable text files should all else fail for access and backup.

“The brain is great at creating new ideas and not that great at keeping old ones available and relevant.”

The concept solution is call “building a second brain” off load the remembering to your system, and free your mind for creative thought.

Another concept worth considering is “PIM” Personal information management. The guy at the blog below taught me a lot. Again, he uses org-mode, but the concepts are platform neutral.

I have automated my agenda and todo work items using #emacs #org-mode it’s been a journey over 4 years worth of continuous improvement, and my productivity is through the roof. I have my weekends, and I go into them having my work for the next week planned out and queued up for Monday morning.

The #Damus updates have to go live for mass adoption, Damus is still the most pleasing experience on iOS mobile, so i doubt the zap replacement is really going to take off till then.

To quote the Bible “Faith without works is dead”

Extending this concept “Ideas without action are dead”

Yup, theses zaps and relay fees are quite a bit higher than people realize.

The #globalconversation is to be facilitated by #relays, not contained by them.

I don’t know what the fuck kind of experiment I’m running here, but all I can say is I’m the only person I’ve seen on damus with a triple digit relay count.

Oh no! Thanks for the heads up I’ll check it out 😱

Excellent report! Thanks for sharing, I’ll be taking your advice of removing those relays immediately to see the impact.

But, I honestly don’t really care about my global feed, I find more people by digging through follow list and such
