After packing up all my venison i enjoy the process of making buckskin. First step: Fleshing. #hunting #buckskin #grownostr

Took a button buck last sunday morning. Probably the smallest deer ive ever harvested, but at least i put something in the freezer. Definitely tender meat!

I've been raising chickens using broodies exclusively for 12 years. I usually raise up 50 to 70 this way every year without too many issues. I use partridge chantecler. I should post more about this... will start.
I hunt on my neighbours land, just a 7 min walk from my front door. I've got a deer every year for 5 years straight at this stand. I do spend a God awful amount of time in the stand tho. You should switch it up if it's not working. Try somewhere else ???
Hunting in the tree stand a few nights ago. Two pairs of great horned owls were in a face off. Their calling went on for hours. No deer seen. #owls #hoot #hunting #birding #nature

I had an amazing chance with nice big antlered buck this morning. Slow close... I drew my bow on him but he turned into some brush and dissapeared. Fresh scraps right under my stand.
Short-eared owl! Love it.
One more step and this tiny baby might not have made it.

Dekay's brown snake I think. They don't get much bigger than that...
Every single one of these came from my rogue compost pile. Which means these may or may not be edible. π¬ π€

I have wanted to grow those. Is the flesh orange and sweet similar to butternut squash? I've been growing canada crookneck for 7 or 8 years. Super sweet and stores for a long time.

Yum. Never grown tree collard. I make a brassica greens and noodle dish. Chop and stem greens with oil and garlic and salt. Cook for 5min. Mix with noodles. Serve and top with fresh lemon juice, bread crumbs, black pepper, and grated p. Romano.
Beautiful. I got out for few hours this morning. Nothing to report. Lots of tracks.
Is it normal for the bottom leaves on my mini pumpkin plant to turn yellow/die? Thank you! https://www.diningandcooking.com/995237/is-it-normal-for-the-bottom-leaves-on-my-mini-pumpkin-plant-to-turn-yellow-die-thank-you/

Love that soundtrack! Profoundly creepy yet bizarrely addictive
I have a later popping variety and a earlier milo grain variety. The chickens like the popping one more but I'd like to increase the earlyness. It's suitable to use for any sorghum purpose. I add some ground into corn bread but most of goes to the chickens

We kinda only watch horror movies and sci-fi television and are always looking for new suggestions.
My "I will always watch this" movies are all of the original 80s Friday the 13th movies. They got a little crazy with it in the 90s and later, pretty much anything Halloween, People Under the Stairs, The Omen, and Hellraiser.
How about Society 1989? I think? Also one of my favorites is Ravenous 1999.
