Thereβs a part of me that still finds it unfulfilling, kind of like a fast food meal. It does the job but not quite the best option. Just the growing pains of change I guess.
As someone who more or less skipped college and went straight into Dotcom era programming at startups, I always had this sense that I missed out on the fun of college. But oh well, had to move on. Glad you enjoyed it!!

Iβm thinking the QA dev isnβt even senior either. Think itβs 2 layers of JRs that they hope will correct everything. Kinda wild.
Companies are phasing out costly experienced devs and using bootcamp cadets with zero direction. Recently worked with one of those that was taught to never bother checking or testing their code and to just commit it to be passed on to QA developers that will correct any issues. So they are basically never going to learn from their own mistakes since they don't even realize they've made any.
