So the her doctor was telling us all about the carnivore diet. He has been researching it for the past 11 months after deciding he would start cooking his food at home.

After making the decision to cook at home he researched what foods he should cook. At first he was predisposed to vegetarian, especially since he's from India.

But his research led him to carnivore.

He used an example of how wild lions don't have diabetes wherea domesticated cats and dogs have all the same issues their owners have.

He also mentioned how our stomachs have a PH of 2 which is highly acidic. lions are Ph of 1, dogs PH of 3.

Cows and herbivores have neutral Ph(8) in their stomach. So that led him to believe that humans were evolved for eating meat.

He also mentioned that despite eating meat, there is no scurvy. reason being since Vitamin C and glucose have a very similar molecular structure, when the vitamin C is competing with Carbs, the absorption is low.

I forgot to ask him alhow this could help with blood clots, but generally it helps with inflammation which would have side effect of helping.

My mom just had a hematoma in her stomach and blood clot in her leg in the same week.

So they are threading the needle between blood thinner for clots and monitoring hematoma to make sure it doesn't grow.
