The boring PhD in me gets triggered when people take sides in a sideless battle. :)

Who is doing nsecBunker (NIP-46) as an Android app?

I want to integrate it, but I don't like the idea of hitting an external server to get approvals to sign every message. That approval should come from another app in the same system and that app should not have access to the web.

That is an issue of account management that will be resolved over time. nsecBunker is a promising solution to manage a different key per device/app.

You are right. But the convenience to do a live stream in a dedicated live stream app will always be better than in Amethyst. The convenience to organize your lists and highlights will always be 10x better on highlighter than on Amethyst. There is no single UI to rule it all.

And we will. But it will be impossible to offer everything all other apps will be offering, all in one. If they are not using multiple apps, they will be missing out. It's not about my preference or lack of resources to build a mega app. It's about the way Nostr is. We should educate users to try everything else as well.

It's not about agreement. It's just the way things are. People are really missing out if they are stuck with just one client.

The "darkness" preference depends on whether you have high-order aberrations in your cornea. A full dark setting magnifies the visual effects created by the eye's optical imperfections. For those users (10-25% of the population), slightly reducing the contrast between letters and the background is a night-and-day difference. In extreme cases (2-3% of the population), they will see double letters, one slightly below the other, making reading virtually impossible.
