what other tool do you want to use? I guess for Nostr you simply use the Nostr private key (see Accounts in the Alby extension) and add it somewhere else.

but we build on open standards to be interoperable.
To our Tor Browser users: The latest Tor Browser update 12.0.3 made some changes that causes errors in Alby.
If you see an error: "(Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.)" it means "Error: Please set webextensions.storage.sync.enabled to true in about:config"
So to work around this, go to "about:config" and search for "webextensions.storage.sync.enabled" and enable this.
we will look into ways to work around this new limitation.

ah, yes. the selected account in Alby is not window specific but browser wide.
I am sure clients will support multi-accounts soon also, so this hack will no longer be needed I hope.
do you have your own node connected? and from where did you send? to us 10 seconds is already long, we strive for much much faster than that.

not sure if I understand you correctly. But the selected account in the extension is the same in all tabs.
If a client builds a note with key A and you sign it with key B then it gets typically rejected from the relays.
Nostr clients need to improve the UI a bit for multi accounts. hamstr.to is doing that already quite well.
You need to connect some account to the extension. This actually also could be the same lightning account added twice to the extension and then have different Nostr keys for those.
Our main account is a lightning connection (either to an Alby account, or your own node, or something like LNBits or BlueWallet, etc.)
yes, just the Nostr client has to support sending payments. astral.ninja was leading this already quite a while ago.

Hey, open the extension, menu in the top left corner -> websites->click on the website you wish to amend ->settings cog at the end. Then you can amend the budget and permissions.
Yes, it is only 1 set of keys to one Alby account, you can manage both accounts in the extension.
