To access the unofficial GraphQL API (which was used by the twitter.com web client) you needed bearer token (there was one circulating on the internet valid for years, used by my bot and other tools) and guest token (which was valid only for couple of hours and could be obtained from JavaScript from twitter.com/home). If I remember correctly they hide the guest token behind login, possibly making lot of other changes. No idea what's the current state.

Letting Russia capture the Ukraine just buys few years of peace with incoming war of possibly much worse outcomes. Try googling Crimea or Munich agreement. There is no winning scenario. There are bad scenarios and those even worse.
