Garden expansion part 1. Still a good bit to do, but this was a good start.

I took advantage of a Memorial Day sale and got 4 birdies beds. After the sale and a promo it was about 30$ more per bed than building it with shitty box store lumber.

Looks good to me. From what I can see it looks like you have two supports running under your floor. If you plan on getting in there yourself occasionally id try that now and see how it feels. You may want to add some more supports or a leg in the middle to help support the load.

I was able to get 1/2” OSB for 28$ at my local HD

Quail was on the list surprisingly. But I could have done rabbits. I was just really committed to laying hens and that’s what I did all the research and planning for. The two main things were soy free eggs and having my young daughter be part of everything. I’m not happy about but I’m just moving on.

Since they won’t allow me to have chickens, I tore down and returned what materials I could and salvaged the rest then turned it into a garden bed. This is the first one at the new house. It’s no piano but it’ll do just fine.

HELP! I recently found out that my township doesn’t allow me to have chickens. This is after my county said that I could. I really really don’t want to waste all of the time and effort I put into having chickens. I’m basically all done and ready to put the chickens I hatched outside this weekend and now this.

I’m looking for recommendations for some statist jiu jitsu tactics and ideas. If anyone has gotten some kind of exemption or anything like that in an area that technically doesn’t allow chickens please let me know.

Can anyone identify this plant? It looked much different than anything I’ve seen around my yard so I let it grow to check it out.

At this point for me personally I don’t buy anything unless I need it for the job. If it’s a paying job I just build that cost into my pricing and if it’s for personal work it just has to make sense. If it’s gonna save me 10 hours and it’s 80$ sure. If it’s 1200$ probably not. All that being said I have a solid stable of tools that can cover almost anything I want to do.

What’s the most unique thing you’ve ever worked on? I’d like to hear from any type of job not just builders and fabricators. For me it’s probably this 8’ walkthrough Christmas ornament with an ATM inside. There were a lot of long days and late nights with this one.

I setup Zeus and connected it to my alby. I tried to zap and the default was 1000 sats and I couldn’t change it. I’ll have to look into it some more I guess.
