I also remember having to reply 'liked' cos we didn't have like buttons. Those were the good old days where plebs had to work to communicate
Thanks for the share Nat. Great read. Scary too.
An average school system and mega corporation
globalization don't help.
The airbnb 'familiarity' style screams we need to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong I like comfy accommodation and a decent (sort of) coffee (starbucks) when I travel so perhaps we all need to question our choices.
In a world with so many choices and abundance, we really need to make decisions based on our values that resonate rather than the first thing that looks comfortble and easy. Not easy as it takes time. Fiat economies have taken our time away!
#bitcoin will bring it back via deflation as our good friend #[2] writes. I look forward to that future.
And shitpost on nostr 😀😀😀 🤘
🎯 It can be printed. So why do we pay taxes
Hello my good brother. Good to see you on here. We stuck a few stickers in Amsterdam together. #bitcoin

Fair enough. Respect that.
But what if one didn't need to worry about making money for shop rental and living, and was a restaurant owner for the passion for food and to enjoy hanging with patrons? Could that change your perception?
Def. This is true for alcohol and a long dinners but prob not for lunch takeaways which us prob closer to above.
But yes the main point is abundance via bitcoin will likely bring some nice synergies where we see our neighboring stores as 'value adds' to our own businesses rather than competitors taking our business away. Maybe we will have better innovation where the focus will be on making the experiences better and more unique for the customer, much like nostr has done to frontend clients.
Pura vida is a costa rican saying. Like saying hello and also linda 'all good' or 'Lifes good'. Literslly it means 'pure life'
Pura vibra is more like good vibrations/energy to you.
Also the motto of a great CR artist
Pura vibra in my book 🤘🤘🤘
Agree. But the one thing that is meaningful about art and design is the back story behind the design. Will AI be able to produce a meaningful story that we believe in and relate to?

In asía it’s relatively common to grab a drink from a street stall and walk into another restaurant and have your meal while drinking that drink.
The notion that I have to drink a drink from the restaurant that I eat at is a western phenomenon that is often justified as you need to clean the waste from the drink (ie a plastic cup/bottle or a can).
In actual fact most businesses don’t experience an increase in costs here. Staff are paid by the hour not by the bottles they clean up. What we focus on is the loss of potential income and extra work. But probably in an abundant world we might choose to focus on the the long list of benefits like:
1) someone came to visit and enjoy our food
2) they didn’t want a drink offered at the restaurant and perhaps the actual message is that the drink selection could be improved
3) a freedom was celebrated in that the person got what they want and value was gained for that person
4) allowing this behaviour creates community rather than walled silos.
5) what if someone bought the restaurants food to eat at a drink or dessert bar?
Bitcoin may just bring this abundance and I look forward to seeing the evolution of a world where increased profits is the main and sometimes only goal of a business.
