Have you seen this video? Basically dig any time of holes, trenches, swales to stop the water. Water level raises and then you get streams/creeks. I need big property :) https://youtu.be/-8nqnOcoLqE?feature=shared

#grownostr #survival #collapse interesting podcast with intelligent guys on it. They seem convinced that a black swan event is incoming and this show was to tell you the top items to purchase to survive.

1. I tend to be skeptical that the end of the world as we know it is coming. Maybe more and more likely…

2. Thermal is a very powerful tool and would be a great option at night to protect yourself. Still expensive at around 2k.

It’s nice this time of year when everything gets some watering from the dew.

#grownostr #garden #aquaponics #plant #propagation put shade cloth over the aquaponics system. I have concrete mixing tub to water potted plants, other side has cuttings being propagated. Runs off a mechanical timer, 15 on 15 off during the day.

#grownostr #garden #rolypoly my garden bed that was planted with rye grass. I covered with pond liner for 2 weeks, a ton of roly-poly were under there. Not sure if they love biochar or just a dark place with dead grass :).

Seems that if you’re not a complete idiot, number always go up might mitigate your wanting to sell.

Mulberry fruiting out already, hopefully no more frost.

Idaho - Boise area, super family friendly and safe. Texas - I like the weather, plenty to do, good food. 80 degrees today :). Drivers are terrible, I think I’d like to be in a less populated area I’m 30 minutes from Houston currently.

I ordered the book, I’ll let you know what I think when completed.

This is on my to read list, grab some more radios. Probably need to get this going before election season :). The Guerrilla's Guide To The Baofeng Radio https://a.co/d/8t1DpYJ

Any other favorite fruiting plants or trees that you have? I’m not as familiar with the best varieties down in Texas. Just have blackberry, mulberry, elderberry so far.

So far a lot of leaves and some grass. Trying to get a load of wood chips to fill in the rest.

#grownostr #bioreactor #gardening just need some woodchips to finish this bioreactor. I’ll use an sprinkler irrigation line to automatically water each day.
