Half-baked thought of the day:
Could small & marginal banks become "early" Bitcoin adopters? If CBDCs come to pass, and smaller banks get disintermediated by the central bank (i.e. the major banks) in the process, some might join the monetary rebellion
Yep, looks quite different in the mobile and server markets

I've heard some good things about Sharepoint.
Apparently Git Attributes allows you to handle diffing of Word files, not sure about Excel/Powerpoint:

Documents in which format? Git is great but only for text
some people were wondering what importing your tweets looks like
as you'll see, you get total control of what gets imported and to which relays they are sent
here's a quick screencap:

Nobody can kick you off #nostr for posting "bring back the guillotine", it's still a dumb and irresponsible thing to say. Please think about what that means, calling for the public beheading of a specific person. Even if you say it as a joke, how many will read it unironically.
I recently read Joe Abercrombie's "The Age of Madness", which plays out a kind of French revolution in the fictional world of the "First Law" trilogy. Excellent and terrifying read, no guillotines but an equally grisly method
According to this Nostrovia podcast, #nostr is highly vulnerable because it builds on the IP network which is censorable. Would be glad about comments by knowledgeable folks on this topic.
I am a nym responding to a nym, so it looks like there's at least two of that want this ๐
I don't think #nostr is well-suited for the FB style, because the focus is censorship resistance, which is for public speech. FB style is for intimate speech among family/friends, i.e. privacy oriented.
Intrigued - can you do a live informal logic brainstorm so I get the idea?
Syllogisms can be highly formal. I'm sure you can get a java compiler to do syllogisms.
I recommend checking Haskell, some interesting logic there. Or things like Coq if you're brave enough for those woods
Freedom tech existence and readiness are more important IMO. Sudden mass adoption would probably mean something very bad has happened, which we really shouldn't hope for. Bear markets are for building, and let's hope for a long bear market in freedom tech
What's your favorite kind of logic?
Clients also modify some configs, so if you use multiple clients they can interfere with each other ๐
I haven't seen claims that #nostr gives you full control over your data.
The main idea of nostr is that it is censorship resistant; anyone can run a relay and participate in the protocol.
This also means that there is no guarantee that you can scrub your data from nostr, because anyone can republish your data and you can't censor them. The same is true for your blog on the web - anyone could make a copy.
