At this point, there are enough of us Bitcoiners to just build our own system. We can hold the door open for anyone that wants to join us, but unfortunately ding dongs like Brian will continue to distract "retail", "normies", "no coiners" from finding us. I've shifted my focus solely on building the coordination, cooperation, and coelessence of the existing Bitcoiners. In my opinion, Bitcoiners will get more benefit by shifting the focus to strengthening Bitcoin community and culture rather than trying to drag new people into the fray. Earn Bitcoin, mine Bitcoin, spend Bitcoin, go to Bitcoin meetups, spend Bitcoin with Bitcoiners, keep your sats local. Nostr is a location for Bitcoiners to build cultural capital and circular economies beyond the local meetups. Nostr is for Bitcoiners by Bitcoiners.

My only quibble is Gaetz. I didn't like his antics and grandstanding over Kevin McCarthy. But I'm on board with everybody else. It's great to see RFK and Tulsi (two previous democrats who ran for president) on the team. I'm completely on board with DOGE (Go Elon!). I think Hegseth brings the right attitude (lethality) to the military. Rubio is great as SecState. Huckabee is ideal as Ambassador to Israel. I could go on...

Nostr the protocol is much much bigger than that. It will rewrite the web as every web site will need to have signed its contents, and every visitor will need to sign their intersections with the web site.

The current web will be seen as rudimentary and crazy space because we pay ($, or attention ads) for an ID from a centralized provider and have to ask permission fromthem powers that be.
